    Episode 188: Survived a Ghost- Aztalan State Park

    Hello  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics Aztalan State Park, located in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, protects a 172-acre stretch of land along the Crawfish River. Created in 1952, it earned National Historic Landmark status in 1964 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. The park preserves the remains of an ancient Mississippian settlement that thrived from roughly the 10th through the 13th centuries. Its inhabitants built impressive earthwork mounds for ceremonies, political gatherings, and burial rites. Aztalan was one among many key Mississippian centers dotting the Mississippi Valley; its people took part in a vast trade network extending from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast and the southeastern United States.

Citro to describe a region in southwestern Vermont where several people vanished between 1945 and 1950. Citro explored these cases— and the local folklore—in books such as Shadow Child, drawing parallels to Massachusetts’s Bridgewater Triangle. Tales of odd occurrences around Glastenbury and its environs had circulated for decades, the most famous involving the 1946 disappearance of college student Paula Jean Welden

    Episode 186: The Disappearance of Trevor Deely

    Hello       Welcome back  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics On 8 December 2000, 22-year-old Trevor Deely vanished in Dublin after walking home at about 4 a.m. from his work Christmas party. Earlier that night he had stopped by his office to fetch an umbrella and prepare for his shift the next day. Security cameras recorded him entering and leaving the building, including a brief conversation with an unidentified man dressed all in black. Deely was next seen on CCTV outside an AIB bank on Haddington Road as he continued on foot toward his apartment in Ballsbridge— this remains his last known image. Despite extensive Garda investigations, no trace of him has ever been found.

    Episode 185: The Oakland County Killings

    Hello       Welcome back  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics The Oakland County Killings The Oakland County Child Killer (OCCK) is the name given to the individual or individuals responsible for at least four child murders in Oakland County, Michigan, between 1976 and 1977. All confirmed victims—a pair of 12-year-old girls and two boys aged 11 and 12— were last seen with a man described as a young to middle-aged white male, with a defined jawline, prominent nose, long dark hair, and a demeanor that made children feel safe. Each child was abducted, held captive, then either strangled or shot before his or her body was left in a publicly visible spot near roadways. At the time, the ensuing murder investigation became the largest in U.S. history, drawing round-the-clock coverage from Detroit’ s newspapers, radio, and television stations. In 1977, a WXYT radio documentary titled “ Winter’ s Fear: The Children, the Killer, the Search” won a Peabody Award for its reporting on the case

    Episode 183: Rebekah Baptiste

    Hello       Welcome back  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics Trigger Warning as this episode contains the death of a minor   Rebekah Baptiste Rebekah Baptiste was a ten-year-old American girl who died on July 30, 2025, three days after being found unresponsive and gravely injured in a remote area of Holbrook, Arizona. Her father, Richard Baptiste, and his fiancée, Anicia Woods, have been charged with her murder, kidnapping, and child abuse.

    Episode 182: Anna Kepner

    Hello       Welcome back  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics Trigger Warning as this episode contains the death of a minor Anna Kepner The killing of eighteen-year-old Anna Marie Kepner unfolded in chilling contrast to the carefree setting aboard the Carnival Horizon. On November 2, 2025, Anna had stepped onto the gleaming white deck in Miami, Florida, with her family—her father Christopher Kepner, her spirited stepmother Shauntel Hudson, doting grandparents, a lively sixteen-year-old stepbrother, and a curious nine-year-old stepsister. Their six-night voyage promised sun-drenched days in George Town, Grand Cayman; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Cozumel, Mexico. Anna, a proud cheerleader at Temple Christian School in Titusville, Florida, laughed easily as she unpacked her bright swimsuits and face-paint kits, sharing a cabin with her stepbrother as they had always been so close, her grandparents often reminded anyone who’d listen.

    Episode 181: The death of Rey Rivera

    Hello       Welcome back  This is survived with Sophie and Lexi We started telling our survived story (in college) and we are moving on to being you guys more Through many different topics The body of Rey Rivera was discovered on May 24, 2006, inside the historic Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon neighborhood. Although the Baltimore Police Department ultimately labeled his death a probable suicide, the strange circumstances and conflicting evidence have left many questions unanswered.
