I’m 35, grew up in South Dakota and have lived in Rapid City the last 5 years. I didn’t know how bad the flood was until listening to this. It’s unbelievable! The stories really hit home. It was emotional, but important for me to understand what happened in my community 50 years ago. Thank you for telling these stories!
Great storytelling

Not from SD, but a friend recommended this podcast. Hearing first hand interviews of survivors really brings the story of the flood to life.
