We have gotten into debating with each other on who's right and who's wrong or we rely on each other's convictions about what we should do. Neither of those go to the Father and ask him. I challenge you today to turn your face the the Lord and ask!

    What I learned in 34 Years!

    Sometimes you just have to take a minute and reflect. I will be turning 35 in just a few weeks, and I wanted to sit back and look at what I have learned in my 34 years of living. I have gone through quite a bit and sometimes am not sure how I made it here. I am glad that I did and did not do it alone! I hope this encourages you and maybe take a minute to reflect on your life and how much you have overcome.

    Singleness: Content in the waiting

    Being almost 35 the enemy can come at you from a lot of angles. Telling you you're not enough, you've missed it, you're too much, you're not doing enough, you're doing too much; all the things and the truth is they are ALL LIES! God never promised marriage, is it a desire yes, but is it my purpose no. Can I still be everything he's called me to be? Absolutely. Being content can be hard at times but what it really tells me is that amid my waiting, what piece(s) of my heart does God want from me and what parts am I still not finding complete in him.     It is that deep

    In today's society as Christians we have the tendency to say things like "Oh it's not that deep!" I challenge that thought and say actually it is that deep! There are letters in the bible that tell us what tolerence does and I think that Lord has a lot to say, we just have to quiet ourselves enough to listen.

    Do you allow God to break you?

    What does it mean to be broken? Sometimes the Lord brings us to the end of ourselves to bring us closer to him and to holiness. It often times feels like a death and it is! It is a dying to self. Do you actually allow him to break you in those areas for his glory or do you run the other way?
