The Toast

Thanks for bringing so much happiness and light to my day and for both of your support of Israel. It’s so beyond special!

Just cheugy, closed-minded, and insufferable. The girls clearly aren’t interested in current pop culture and only report on their bubble. Used to be such an avid toaster (every day listener, merch purchaser, live show attender, paying patreon member, etc.), but the show really turned unbearable to the point my opinion of them as people has drastically changed. I started to become peeved when they would consistently get stories wrong. As a “pop culture” show delivering “your fast 5 stories” this show format is super flawed if the details of the stories are incorrect. They have no validity in ANYTHING they say and come across as extremely ignorant, for matters big and small. They spew negativity and talk down TO their audience non-jokingly referring to them as idiots and other words alike or worse. They literally berate and scold their LISTENERS. I don’t know why any one would choose to listen to that. There is no lighthearted comedy weaved in like there once was and overall charm is gone. Just not something I want to consume, take up an hour+ of my day, nor support people that are so out of touch and plain negative.

I just discovered podcasts when I turned 30 two years ago. Claud and Jack were recommended to me by my girlfriends and this has never disappointed. I’ve listened to several other podcasts, but only The Toast every day. I went back as far as I could go to listen. It reminds me of the days when you’d get on the home phone after dinner on Sunday night to talk about xyz with your friends about the weekends events. Love ya bye!

Do you know what that is? I agree with most of the things you say except your politics, which leads me to think you’re not that smart and just so shallow. You stated jimmy Kimmel’s ratings were low. They’re at an all time high. He came back because they were. I’m so disappointed. I wanted to like you and kept listening even with your past. You seem progressive in theory and in thought, but you’re not. You want the country to regress, I guess. Good thing you don’t have daughters. This is shameful. Do better.
