    BETH BRUCKNER O'BRIEN
    Beth is a writer, producer and entertainment executive who has worked on 36 films during her career. Currently, Beth is developing and packaging a slate of films as an independent producer, including THE NEST, a domestic violence thriller Beth wrote, with Natalia Leite (MFA, The Handmaid’s Tale) attached to direct, and Halle Berry on board to produce with her production company run by Holly Jeter.  She is also producing the film adaptation of the bestselling book ON A QUIET STREET by Seraphina Nova Glass.
    Beth also teaches the business of screenwriting and producing at UCLA and USC’s Cinematic School of Arts.
    SANDRA LEVITON
    A Tribeca Film Institute alum, Sandra Leviton is a Los Angeles based producer and writer for Under the Stars Entertainment. On February 8, 2022, “Student Body”, a coming-of-age horror film written & directed by Lee Ann Kurr, starring Christian Camargo (“See”, “The Hurt Locker”, “Dexter”) and Harley Quinn Smith (“Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”, “Cruel Summer”, “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot”), and Montse Hernandez (“Lowriders”, “Jane The Virgin”), will be released via 1091 Pictures. Motion Pictures Exchange is handling worldwide sales. Her previous film, “ZONE 2”, stars Anne Ramsay (“A League of Their Own”, “Mad About You”). After playing top genre festivals, including Screamfest, and going on a world tour with Etheria, ZONE 2 is now available on Shudder and Amazon in season 2 of the "Etheria" series. Prior to starting Under The Stairs Entertainment, Sandra spent five years working in Development & Current Programming at FX, working on over 20 original series, including “American Horror Story”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “Justified”, “The Shield”, “Archer”, and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. Previously, she worked in the TV Literary department at the Paradigm Talent and Literary Agency, was a production coordinator in reality TV, a music video producer, and story analyst for the AMC Network and Walden Media. In addition to writing and producing, Sandra is a mentor and educator for colleges, writing conferences, film festivals, and non-profit organizations. Highlights include: #StartWith8Hollywood, WOCUnite/JTC List, UCLA MFA Screenwriters Showcase, the JT3 Art Foundation, Harvardwood, Emerson College, the Savannah Film Festival, The Script Lab 360, and aTVFest in Atlanta.

    Emmy Award Winner Joshua Pruett is the only human being on Earth to have written for both MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 and DOCTOR WHO.
    Currently on Disney's HAMSTER & GRETEL (2022), Joshua is perhaps best known for his work as a TV writer on THE LAST KIDS ON EARTH Netflix animated series, the original feature for Disney Plus, PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE: CANDACE AGAINST THE UNIVERSE and MILO MURPHY'S LAW. His original DOCTOR WHO story, TIDES OF THE MOON from DOCTOR WHO: THE SIXTH DOCTOR ADVENTURES: WATER WORLDS produced by Jacqueline Rayner and starring Colin Baker, Bonnie Langford and Ruth Madeley, released May, 2022 from BIG FINISH PRODUCTIONS.
    Joshua is also a published author, having written books for all ages, including the hilarious middle grade novel SHIPWRECKERS: THE CURSE OF THE CURSED TEMPLE OF CURSES, OR WE NEARLY DIED. A LOT. with Scott Peterson from DISNEY/HYPERION.
    Joshua has over fifteen years of experience inflicting laughter and monsters on others as storyboard artist, writer and creative consultant for Crunchyroll, LEGO, Warner Animation Group, Pure Imagination Studios, Disney TV, DreamWorks Feature Animation, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks TV, Awesomeness TV, Sprout/NBC Universal, Disney China/Beijing, Zombie Bake Shop, Netflix, Paramount Feature Animation as well as developing THE HAUNTED MANSION for Disney TV with Scott Peterson.
    He is also the author of THE JUNGLE BOOK: THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS THE PACK, with Scott Peterson, an adaptation and expansion of the 2016 live action feature film, the horror short story collection THE MISERY COMPANY, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER: LEGACY OF THE FIRE NATION from Insight Editions (2020) and contributed an original short story to the tie-in anthology PREDATOR: EYES OF THE DEMON (Titan Books, 2022).

    For those who need help finding a writing routine or are deadline-driven writers, this one is for you. Jeanne Veillette Bowerman sits down with Grant Faulkner, writer and Executive Director of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

    They explore not only the famous annual writing challenge, but also how to navigate the unpredictable life of a writer.

    Grant Faulkner is the Executive Director of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and the co-founder of 100 Word Story. He's published Pep Talks for Writers: 52 Insights and Actions to Boost Your Creative Mojo; Brave the Page; All the Comfort Sin Can Provide; Fissures, a collection of 100-word stories; and Nothing Short of 100: Selected Tales from 100 Word Story.

    His stories have appeared in dozens of literary magazines, including Tin House, The Southwest Review, and The Gettysburg Review, as well as in anthologies such as Best Small Fictions and Norton's New Micro: Exceptionally Short Fiction. His essays on creativity have been published in The New York Times, Poets & Writers, Writer’s Digest, and The Writer.

    He also hosts Write-minded, a weekly podcast on writing and publishing, and he's an Executive Producer of the upcoming TV show, America's Next Great Author.
