    Episode 386: Ménage à Troi   Friend of the show Tanya Zerr makes her yearly appearance to join David this week to discuss the TNG season three episode Ménage à Troi. It's been a while since we've discussed Star Trek: The Next Generation on the show and I do believe this isn't an episode we ever really discussed before. This episode unfortunately does not depict a Ménage à Trois much to our great sadness. But this episode is one of the first to establish much of the Ferengi Lore we come to know for The Next Generation and for Deep Space Nine. This being a Lwaxana Troi episode it is always a pleasure to see her on screen. The year is 1996 the movie Mission: Impossible. This movie would go on to spawn 7 sequels and the crazy thing is, most of the films have been solidly entertaining. We will probably end up doing Mission Impossible films when we have some gaps between newer shows or movies we would like to podcast on.     Episode 377: Star Trek First Contact   We are back after an unexpected impromptu summer break. It's been a while since we've touched on Star Trek and since 90% of Brian's Star Trek knowledge comes from lower decks I thought it would be good to have him watch Star Trek First Contact since the film was heavily referenced in one of the episodes of Lower Decks. This strategy seems to have worked so other future Star Trek discussions will likely have a tie into lower decks. I think Brian's perspective on Star Trek from a Lower Decks first approach is an interesting one. First day back and David had some Mic issues, sorry about that. Season three is a massive improvement upon season one and season two and if seasons one and two were as strong as this season I think we would have known by now if season 4 is green lit. As of this moment the show's fate is in Amazon's hands. With how much the show improved this season we are very much hoping for a fourth season.
