Hermes isn’t just the god of messengers and tricks. He is the god of commerce, languages, thievery, trickery, eloquent speaking, feasts, hospitality, guard dogs, birds of omen, gymnastics, athletic competition, and telling fortunes with dice. And in a lot of stories Persephone is actually the goddess of spring and when she is in the over world Demeter brings spring. That was the whole point in the story of hades and Persephone, to say why there was winter. I’m not trying to say that you are wrong but you do need to take that into consideration. And yes, Apollo is a bisexual icon and we love him.
