Working across art, architecture, and ecology, Cooking Sections examine food systems and the imprints of extractivism. Through their research platform CLIMAVORE, they reimagine the entanglements between food, territory, and environmental justice, as humans change climates. Candace is a scholar and activist whose work brings together Indigenous epistemologies, climate justice, and decolonial cartographies. Author of the book "Mapping Abundance for a Planetary Future’, she reimagines cartography as a practice of ecological care, grounded in ancestral knowledge and planetary futures.
