Bad Sound Quality
Sounds like you’re talking in another room. Listen to any other podcast ever then listen to yours.
Too much laughter!
One of the worst true crime podcasts I have ever listened to. I was interested in the Elizabeth Haysom story because of the Netflix series. BUT the laughter with these two takes you out of the story. For example, the hosts are speaking of Elizabeth being raped 6 times and on drugs and then turning herself into the consulate while traveling Europe. Bahahahahahaahah uncontrollable laughter. Hilarious to them. There are so many more examples of obnoxious laughter. Hint: that’s not funny!!!

Something way off
I stumbled on this Pod because they cover some cases that I’m interested in. Sameerah is pretty solidly entertaining as a storyteller and puts in her research. Her sidekick, however, is so off-putting that it makes the pod physically uncomfortable to listen to. She laughs and “mmm-hmmm”’s in the most random places, as though she’s only half paying attention, and her comments and side remarks come off as insensitive, insecure, and victim-blamey.
There is something way off in the “voice” of this pod and the public chemistry between these two hosts as co-narrators.
I love a true crime podcast that makes me laugh, as long as we’re laughing at the criminals and bad behavior, not the victims (including their backgrounds, names, appearances, etc).
This one misses the mark HARD.
I hope that the hosts can take the reviews into account and improve it.
