    The Fussy Episode

    We all saw it, we all sort of predicted it, and now we have to talk about it. Arguably the worst loss at home in modern Sounders history, there was very little to be happy about. And we tried. It’s hot, no one has air conditioning, and the ‘Ders are misbehaving. What’s the recipe? Will there be a signing to stop this bleed? Is there an injury problem in the league, or is it just us?     More Like WHY-Bel

    We’re back after the world cup break – after 53 days of no sounders ball, we are hungry, and the hot takes are flowing like tea in Boston Harbor on the 250th Anniversary of whatever. US are out in spectacularly horrible fashion, FIFA remains awful, but everyone seems to have had a great time. Sounders take on the Timbers at Seattle Stadium [sic] on Thursday, so we might as well talk about that, too. No trap, it will be just fine. Just fine.     Sleepless in SoCal

    Tonight, we’re recapping a match that felt like a premium heavyweight boxing match - but we slipped on the mat early and it took us at least 25 minutes to get back on our feet. We went down to BMO Stadium, went punch-for-punch with Marc Dos Santos's LAFC, tried to control the tempo, but left with nothing but a dented post and an agonizing 'what if'. But the silver lining? We are officially entering the massive seven-week 2026 FIFA World Cup break. The league is pausing, the rosters are shifting, and we’ve got international call-ups to track.
