    Bills 2026 Draft Review: Likes, Dislikes & Hindsight For Each Selection

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, the dust is starting to settle on the 2026 NFL Draft and Patrick Moran shares his thoughts on each of the Buffalo Bills nine selections--what he liked, didn't like and wishes what would've happened with each of the picks. The Bills traded down three times and ultimately out of the first round but that doesn't mean Buffalo's draft wasn't eventful. In fact, quite the opposite. It seems there's a wide ranging perspective on how the Bills went about their process and if nothing else, a slight trade up for a cornerback in the second round was certainly eye opening and if not a shocker. Patrick goes through each pick Buffalo made and tries to explain what he liked, what he didn't like and what he would've done with each pick were he the one making the call. Like probably many of you, Patrick felt the Bills sweet spot of the draft was the fourth and fifth rounds and in fact, thinks a few of the day three picks could end up being the best selections when we look back at this draft in a few years.     Sabres Dominate Game Four & Bills Draft Review (Live Reaction)

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss the Buffalo Sabres game four road domination of Boston that has them within a game of advancing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in addition to thoughts and reaction from the 2026 Buffalo Bills draft over the past few days. Last Thursday the Sabres took back home ice advantage with a 3-1 win in Boston. On Sunday they took a stranglehold on the series. Buffalo didn't just beat Boston, they embarrassed them on their home ice, 6-1 in a game that showed Buffalo's clearly the superior talented team. The guys discuss the excitement of just being one game away from a second round meeting with either Tampa Bay or Montreal. Meanwhile another NFL Draft has come and come and Brandon Beane made seven trades, including six that had them moving back. In the end Buffalo ended up selecting nine players and the guys have plenty of thoughts on each of them, what they liked and disliked the most from this draft, where they think the Bills roster stands after the draft, what moves may still be out there to come and much more.     Surprising If Not Head Scratching Draft Night Two For Bills

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, the Buffalo Bills made two picks in the second round on night two of the NFL Draft that are drawing strong reactions, and Patrick Moran has plenty of them. Many thought the Bills could go defensive tackle or linebacker with their first (35) but Brandon Beane pulled the trigger on edge rusher TJ Paker of Clemson. It's not that the selection of a defensive edge is shocking by any means, but in Parker they showed without question that they prefer a specific prototype at the postion. If Parker wasn't shocking, the second pick of the round certainly was---Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun. Patrick picks his jaw up from the floor to discuss.     Sabres Take Game Three & Bills Trade Down Three Times (Live Reaction)

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Mike Bundt (Trainwreck Sports) for full live reaction shortly after the conclusion of the Buffalo Sabres taking to the road to defeat the Boston Bruins in game three, 3-1 e in addition to the Buffalo Bills trading down three straight times in a conversation streamed live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo. Folks, this Sabres win was all about the additions to the lineup that weren't on the ice in the first two games. Noah Ostlund was fantastic in setting up a goal and putting the final nail in Boston with an empty netter, while Alex Lyon was absolutely brilliant in net minus one shot.  They helped overcome a terrible Sabres power play yet again and bad third penalties from two of their biggest stars, Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin,. The guys talk about the good, bad and ugly of a win that wrestles home ice advantage back to Buffalo. As for the Bills, they got on the clock at 26 and decided to trade down two spots with Houston. Then another three with New England. Then another four and out of the first round entirely with Tennessee. So the Bills don't end up with a first round pick but improve their draft stock, semi significantly over the final six rounds. The guys have several opinions about it and much more.     Final Buffalo Bills Full 2026 Mock Draft

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran drops his third and final 2026 full Buffalo Bills mock draft just hours ahead of the real NFL draft that begins on Thursday night, an evening where the Bills may or may not even end up making a first-round selection. Before launching the mock Patrick explains what his biggest dilemma for the Bills is this year----need versus value. There's little question that when you look up future contracts based on today's market that wide receiver and edge rusher are two premium positions the Bills could address first and both would be perfectly wise. However, when looking at the current state of the roster and past year January performances you can make a sound argument that improving at stopping the run should be of the utmost importance, and a stout defensive tackle and linebacker are the team's biggest draft needs. But what happens if popular mock pick and nearby Rochester native wide receiver KC Concepcion happens to be on the board at 26? Do you add another weapon that some experts consider as perhaps the next Stefon Diggs minus the off-field drama?     Six Buffalo Bills Draft Predictions For This Week

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over six predictions he thinks will play out for the Buffalo Bills throughout the 2026 NFL Draft that begins this Thursday night. Weeks if not months of rumors and speculation are just about over as we head into draft week and like many of you, Patrick's probably changed his mind about how some things will play out dozens of times. However, it's pretty much put up or shut up time and Patrick has landed on some Bills draft factors he feels pretty comfortable predicting. Among them is admittedly still completely undecided on if the Bills will take a wide receiver early in the draft but confident enough to predict if they take one anytime in the first three rounds that Keon Coleman will be a former Bill by the end of the weekend. Also, offensive tackle isn't a need right now, but Patrick explains why he thinks you can still a prospect selected there as easy as round three. Could taking a kicker be on the table? Patrick certainly thinks so. That plus why a defensive tackle at the top doesn't feel like enough value, why he lands on taking a defensive edge rusher first and much more.     Sabres Storm Back Over Boston In Game One (LIVE Reaction)

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Buffalo podcaster and blogger Chris Ostrander just minutes after the Buffalo Sabres stormed back to beat the Boston Bruins, 4-3 to take game one of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal playoffs. The Sabres looked like toast after falling down 2-0 in the third period and lacked energy, which trickled some into the crowd. But Tage Thompson literally changed that with two goals to tie it before Mattias Samuelsson netted the go ahead goal and Alex Tuch gave them insurance (they'd need) with an empty net goal in a nice play by Thompson. The guys talk about the good, bad and ugly of the game which of course there was plenty of all it. What matters most is the Sabres take game one of the series. Plenty to talk about!
