Do we have rabies? Maybe. In today’s episode Emma Kate watches the first *Bratz* media she’s ever seen. And Joe really has thrown her in the deep end… It’s *Bratz: Fashion Pixiez* ! The 2007 DVD all about (allegedly) pixies, or more realistically about how raves are evil and why you shouldn’t be friends with your aunt.

Day of Diana ,

Really awesome for lovers of dolls and doll history!!

Found this podcast through oak23’s tumblr, so thanks very much, John!! I wanted to say that this first episode is really cool and a very good listen for people who are fond of dolls and interested in US doll history (plus industry insider info, such as manufacturing, concepts to planning to execution, etc)!! And I love how long it is, clocking in at an incredible 2 hours and 10 minutes!! Their first guest, Stephanie, is a font of amazing knowledge and stories of her time doing freelance work, and working for Mattel and Hasbro. The sound quality of her mic is a bit quiet and scratchy, but it’s fine if you turn up the volume. The hosts allow Stephanie to talk while guiding the conversation with a deft hand; it’s clear that they’re both quite knowledgeable themselves. They ask questions and contribute information when they feel it’s necessary, so they’re not overbearing at all. I found that I wanted them to speak a little more, actually!! Joe’s mic is a bit loud at times, but that’s okay. I hope they talk about BJDs sometime!!! I’m looking forward to the next episode!!!

Great pieces of doll history

This podcast is off to a strong start. It’s such a treat to listen to all this information and I’m very much looking forward to future episodes and seeing how this podcast evolves

Fascinating topic!

Great podcast with lots of interesting tidbits of information. Brings me back to my childhood from the 80s. One thing though is that it’s a little bit hard to hear and I have cranked up my audio.
