Having conversations regarding defunding the police with friends recently, many point to the lack of funding for social workers as a reason to reallocate taxpayer dollars away from police forces.
After listening to this podcast, I’m convinced the police should not be defunded. This podcast promoted violence as a form of protest. One example in particular was threatening to burn down a business owner’s hotel if they did not hand over their building to house displaced homeless people in Minneapolis. No, I’m not making this up. Two weeks after turning the hotel into a make-shift homeless shelter, the group failed due to a lack of funding/social worker experience. The podcaster blames state government for not funding the group’s attempt to run the hotel. They also complain about how too many of the social workers were white and privileged. Why not just be grateful for their support at all?
This is a podcast of rich kids who have never suffered a day in their life and unfortunately were indoctrinated by their expensive university that their parents paid for. Example is when the host mentions he’s been to “a lot of millionaires houses”. Shows where you came from. Underprivileged communities like Minneapolis need the police to stop privileged liberal arts majors from seizing property and ruining a persons business and livelihood.
Giving it 5 stars and sending to all my friends so more people can hear this, thank you!
