    TWS Episode 124 - ”The Bremen Troll Bridge”

    Tucked away in Bremen, IN in Marshall County Indiana overlooking the Yellow River is The Bremen Troll Bridge. There are many bridges with bizarre phenomena attached them. This bridge however has something truly unique about it. Legend has it that hiding under this waiting for trespassers is an actual troll! 7 to 8 feet tall this troll is said to harass and hurl rocks at people who park there care on top of the bridge at night.  Listen as Marcus tells the stories people have left in comments sections across the internet about their own experiences with the bridge. It expands this legend beyond the bridge itself to include the road and nearby cemetery. This area is home to ghosts, shadow people, orbs, large back dogs, and EVEN more.     TWS Episode 123 - ”The Megalodon”

    Since the earliest days of man setting sail on the high seas, stories of monsters in the ocean's depths have come back with them. Many times these stories were dismissed as legend and fables. However, since the early nineteenth century evidence of massive sharks that once hunted in the dark of ocean began to proven to be real. On top of that many stories started surfacing that made many people think that some of these sharks, might still be living today!  Listen as Marcus and Vic discuss "The Megalodon". They discuss the evolution of the story of how The Megalodon came into popular culture. They also discuss whether they think this creature could still be lurking in the oceans and the problems that it would face.     TWS Episode 122 - ”The Point Pleasant Timeline Part 2”

    Our hosts continue to look at the events of The Point Pleasant Incident. They examine the events of the Mothman sightings leading up to the Silver City Bridge collapsing. The hosts examine the behaviors of John Keel during his investigations. Marcus and Vic debate the reports of strange phone calls people reported getting during this time. Marcus makes the case that the phone calls could have been related to intense psychic activity.  Marcus and Vic discuss the Mothman and try to identify exactly what kind of entity they think it is.     TWS Episode 121 - ”The Point Pleasant Timeline Part 1”

    The Point Pleasant Disaster is a situation many paranormal investigators are familiar with. Around the time of the Silver Bridge collapse sightings of the famous Mothman began to occur. While many are familiar with the story most are not familiar with several other paranormal events and sightings surrounding the area at the time. Vic following the work of John Keel outlines a distinct timeline for listeners to follow along with.  Our hosts tackle interesting concepts such as a possible territory radius for the Mothman. They discuss the age old question of whether the entity is a biological entity, an alien, or possibly from another plane of existence.     Since 1966 (and likely way beforehand) individuals across the world have reported sightings of the elusive Mothman. One of the most famous crytpids in the world, the Mothman brings fear and intrigue to anyone who discusses this mysterious cryptid. Although if you watch most of the documentaries that have come out since 1966 the vast majority of them gloss over several of the sightings reported since then. Marcus and Vic invite their guest "Mothmomma" into the One Candle Studio to discuss a few of her encounters in the paranormal. She shares stories such as a strange synchronicity with the number 4, orbs appearing in photographs, and ends with an amazing story of a Mothman sighting right here in Indiana.     TWS Episode 119 - ”The Jersey Devil”

    In 1735 on a dark and stormy night, Jane Leeds was giving birth to her 13th child. Many stories go she gave birth to a monster with an elongated face, bat like wings, and cloven hooves. The creature let out a terrible scream then crawled up the chimney taking flight into the nearby Pine Barrens. This creature would live the rest of it's life terrorizing people all across the Northeastern parts of the United States and become known as "The Jersey Devil".  Listen as our hosts break down this story and compare it's legend across folklore against similar paranormal entities. Vic discusses wyvern folklore and falls down a few rabbit holes. Marcus discusses how this legend spread along similar lines of other cryptids such as the Van Meter Monster. Marcus draws a parallel in the real world that he notices. This story takes some dark turns involving isolation, magic, and climaxes in a religious battle for the narrators soul!     TWS Episode 117 - ”The Marine Kingdom Part 1”

    WE'RE BACK SHADES!!! After a couple months hiatus Marcus and Vic return to the studio to kick off 2023 with a fresh new episode. To say this story is a doozy would be an understatement. The story of The Marine Kingdom involves a satanic kingdom under the sea. Vic and Marcus break down the text to speech story of "Sister Careen" as she shares her first hand account of her recruitment into this underwater demonic kingdom.  Listen as Marcus and Vic critique the story and share some mead with each other as they fall down this aquatic rabbit hole. Although the original source material is difficult to understand our hosts try to provide some clues that may explain a few pieces of the story.
