This is a nice quick introduction to the hosts with a soft take on tallness. They both needed to have paid more attention to nutrition in health class in high school Episode 2 begins to draw out some contrast between Will’s basic pessimism and bleak view of society with Connor’s underlying optimism. I do think Will has a good understanding of the attraction of Rand’s storytelling with her hypocrisy when faced with reality. However, do not underestimate her impact or influence as one of her most inner circle members ran the world economy when Milton Friedman was head of the federal reserve. The depth of Connor’s background in the lore of Godzilla is likely unrivaled
This is Tom (191 cm). Haven’t commented in a while after missing my guest host shot due a Covid related aborted trip, but a couple of thoughts concerning episode #7: a very good dramatization of the growing pains of the internet you discuss is found in the series “Halt and Catch Fire” which may still be on Netflix. Seriously, the 38th (out of 40) episode pays off with more emotion than I ever expected and I would have put the series somewhere high on my best list, if I believed in such a thing. I think Will might find a like minded character and feel a strong attraction to Mackenzie Davis. Also, about hanging on to physical media, ask Connor about the lengths I go to keep my 400+ video taped movies functional (really hard to find vcr’s these days). Now I have him add movies to my hard drive on a regular basis. As for Connor’s exercise regime, he has developed a good understanding of balancing fitness with avoiding injury and long term degeneration (which I have not as I still work out more than he does). Long term, his approach will keep him off medications (if he keeps his diet and alcohol use under control). Heading off to episode #8
