A show where host, Tami Chin Mitchell, tackles everything from life's biggest questions, to marriage to parenting and everything in between.
Finding Purpose in Your Pain with Simone Clarke-Cooper
Simone Clarke Cooper is often the person asking all the questions. It was my absolute joy to sit with my friend and ask her all the questions for a change. We had a great conversation about how she has gained so much from loss, learning to cherish the "but then" moments and what it means to journey from pain to purpose.
Change the Way You Eat, Change Your Life! with Sharon Feanny
In December 2019, I got the opportunity to have this beautiful conversation with Sharon Feanny. We spoke about wellness on a whole new level and what Live Fit Live Life Live Love means to her. I have had the pleasure on not only knowing Sharon but also had the chance to experience her awesome programmes like the Shakti Activation Detox. I am so happy to announce that starting this week, registration is open.
"Corporate to Creative"- how Jessica Hylton Leckie made the switch to "Jessica In The Kitchen"
On today's episode, I got a chance to have a conversation with Jessica Hylton Leckie from "Jessica In the Kitchen." Recorded back in Dec 2020, this was NOT an interview, this was literally a conversation very close to some of the conversations we have had in the past and even recently. I love Jessica's journey from "Corporate to Creative." She started her career in Law and took the plunge into complete creativity by starting her food blog, Jessica In The Kitchen in 2016.
Trusting the Process with Adrian McDonald (@LexonArt)
I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Adrian McDonald of Lexon Art back in December of 2019.
Adrian is an Artist, Writer, Film Director…a Philosophical Photographer who's ability to tell stories through his photography and short stories are simply mind blowing. In this episode, we speak about the life altering lessons learned through following his curiosity, the divinity of inspiration, the power of loss and the importance of trusting the process.
We Are Back!!! A Conversation About An Unprecedented Year.
We are picking back up where we left off. I am so happy to be back and to be joined by two of my faves, Tessanne and Jonno. We cover so many different topics, but generally, we are talking about how we survived this past year. This episode was recorded right before Christmas and my hope is that you relate to us and see your own experience somewhere in-between our words. Like I said, it feels so good to be back and can't wait to continue on this journey with you all.
Christmas Chronicles with Tessanne and Jono
We wanted to bring this whole journey full circle by coming together again to chat about everything and nothing. I love sitting with these two and this time we are talking about christmas, our traditions and new year resolutions. But we also chat about refried dumplings, horseback riding and vision boarding!!! Say what??? lol. Welcome to our crazy, random world. Hope you all have a VERY MERRY Christmas and enjoy the best of the season.
Please continue sharing
Thank you soooo much for taking the time out to share your truth. while at work I ran across the live you did called “seen & heard. I honestly needed that live, then I listened to your podcast. Literally every emotion I was feeling you guys spoke about it. From feeling like a bad mother, to feeling like I could run away, or even locking myself in the bathroom to cry. I really hope you continue to do these videos & podcast because it’s very therapeutic. Little run down about me, I’m 25 years of age with 2 kids 7 & 2. I work and attend school full time. I get a little help from mom and grandma but for some reason I feel guilty asking for help I feel as though my free time should be spent with my kids and not focusing on self care. I often feel guilty when I can’t find time for my kids because I have to study or work. Hearing that I’m not the only mother that feels this way gives me hope to push forward as a single mother. Thanks
This podcast has been a Godsend. It has been a voice of reason, a timely divine word and a source of joy and laughter. This is by far my fav podcast. When I gave it a try, I realized how much I enjoy listening podcasts and it made me into a "podcast person". Love what Tami has brought to this space!
Trust the Process
Loved this podcast! I’m only 17 and the anxiety I’ve been going through in terms of having to choose a university and a place to live being a Jamaican citizen and facing the international tuitions overseas has been daunting. I felt like I had worked so hard in high school in the states being in over 5 extracurricular, holding leadership positions, and having the highest GPA in my grade level; yet, my status was undermining scholarship opportunities etc. I felt as though the process wasn’t going the way I expected it to, but after listening I’ve learnt that after doing everything YOU can, the next step is to just trust the process.
