    Welcome back to another episode of Tapping Into Life, I am your host, Brenda Holder. This episode is called Tapping into Our Voice. I am really excited to share with you some beautiful learnings that I have discovered lately and wanted to share with you all. This conversation is all about connecting to our voice, it’s not just the voice we use to talk, but also the voice within us. Yes, we have many voices and one that is very important is the voice for our body. This voice is often communicating to us through aches, pains and a variety of body sensations. I will share with you my journey and how I continue to connect to the voice in my body which continues to support me on my healing journey.     Tapping Into Mindfulness

    Welcome back to another episode of Tapping Into Life and Happy New Year. 
I am so excited to share that we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we look forward to an amazing 2025. I have many wonderful guests for the upcoming episodes and I look forward to keeping this conversation going. I want to wish you all the very best for 2025, may your year be full of love, peace and abundance in all areas of your life. This episode is all about Tapping Into Mindfulness and a few ways that we can do that for ourselves, especially if we do not have a lot of time. Mindfulness is a practice that can be done for 30 seconds to many minutes in a day, the whole point of mindfulness is being present and not judging ourselves. Here are few suggestions that you can incorporate into your day. Visualization: This can be done for a couple of minutes and I recommend doing some tapping to help get grounded and connect to your body. This exercise is about connecting to a HAPPY PLACE, that can be the ocean, forest, or a place that you would like to visit. Then connect to the details of where you are and call in your senses, notice the texture on your feet, or the breeze across your face, the sound of the wind or the smell of the salt air. Great way to slow down your mind and those thoughts and connect to the body. 2. Short Meditation: Loving - Kindness Meditation Repeat these statements while focusing on your breath. May I be calm May I be happy Feel free to change the words that feel aligned for you. May I be safe May I find peace May you be happy May you be well Then you can send this to loved one. May you be safe May you find peace Let Go of Self-Judgment: Bring awareness to what feeling and or thought maybe present. It could be an uncomfortable emotion(s) and often times we just want to ignore them and hope that they go away. However, when we do that ignoring game, it just builds up even more and then we hold it in our bodies. This time when you are feeling some uncomfortable emotions, let the emotion(s) know that you are aware that they are present and send them some love. If you don’t have the time to connect with these emotions, then sneak them away to a place outside or in a box in your house. This energetic exchange is allowing these emotions to be seen and not stay stuck in your body. Important part is following up with these parts of you, when you do have some time to connect. This is allowing yourself to feel the feelings and also have kindness and compassion for all of you. These types of exercises maybe new for you or you have tried to do some of them and have found it challenging to stay with it. This is a wonderful opportunity to join my FREE Masterclass on How To Get Unstuck and Step Into Your Power. This class is about starting to recognize where you maybe staying stuck, afraid to try something new, avoiding, second guessing yourself, or the fear of getting it wrong. When we stay stuck and it could be that we are not fully aware or that we do not know any other way. This means being able to be yourself without having to change for other people or getting out of your own way because of the fear that you have build around you. I am your host Brenda and I am excited to share with you my journey with becoming more Authentic and also celebrating my 20th episode. I am super happy and very proud of myself and all the beautiful conversations that have happened along the way. I am so excited to see what happens next for Tapping Into Life in 2025. During this episode I will share with you my journey of discovering where I am wearing some of my masks and how I have become more aware of how it has been showing up in my life and leaning into becoming more connected to my Authentic Self. I share my journey of wearing various masks and one of my masks have been looking a certain way because that\s been the messaging that I have been telling myself. Throughout the conversation, I invite you to be curious and see where are those masks showing up for you? One of my masks I have been dealing with has been about my appearance and looking a certain way. As I am getting older, I am noticing the various changes in my body and I haven’t always been kind and compassionate with myself. In fact, I have been very judgmental. I know that I am not alone in this area, and that is why I am sharing this with you. When we are judging and shaming ourselves, we are coming from a place of FEAR. And that is not our Authentic Self. I invite you to be curious as you are listening to this episode and notice if you are experiencing any sensations in your body, are there any feelings coming up? Take the time to journal and celebrate this awareness for yourself. These feelings and sensations in your body are trying to communicate with you and let you know what is under the surface. This is the journey of getting to know your Authentic Self, connecting to the various parts of yourself with love, kindness and compassion The more we come from this loving place for OURSELVES, it will help to soften our heart and allow us to safely expand into becoming who we are met to be!!     Tapping Into Emotional Freedom

    During this episode, I share with you my understanding and experience with emotional freedom. I first learned about this concept when I was introduced to EFT / Tapping, for it’s called Emotional Freedom Techniques. I did not fully understand what that meant initially, however, as I have been embracing my healing journey I have been able to understand and experience emotional freedom. It is truly FREEING. During this episode, I had some real emotions show up and join the conversation and I was able to manage it safely and with compassion and love. I am very grateful for this experience of showing it in the moment and being vulnerable. This is truly what emotional freedom is for me, the ability to be able to experience a variety of emotions comfortably and uncomfortably and still be okay. If you are new to my podcast, then maybe you have been called to listen to this peculiar episode and I invite you to be open and curious. I believe that there are no accidents and when we open our hearts and allow ourselves to be guided, we will receive the message that we are meant to have.
