    Taproot Sessions - Session 1

In this inaugural episode of Taproot Sessions, Corrina Jennings introduces Dave Hook, the founder of Rooted Worship. With over 46 years of ministry experience, Dave shares his "origin story"—from his early days as a rock band musician constantly trying to get the crowd to sing along, to navigating the major shifts in modern church music movements. The conversation centers on the philosophy behind Rooted Worship, moving beyond the surface of "what to think" or "how to do" music, and instead focusing on the "why" of worship. This session serves as an invitation to worship leaders and congregants alike to dig deeper into their spiritual formation, find validation in the struggles of ministry, and move toward a communal "taproot" system of faith that sustains us well beyond Sunday morning.
