    Meer dan de helft van de wereldbevolking is vrouw. Maar van de Belgen die een hoger diploma halen in STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering en Mathematics — is dat maar een goeie 20 procent. En dat is een pak minder dan elders in Europa, terwijl STEM nochtans de motor is achter onze vooruitgang, zeker nu die almaar digitaler wordt. Waar zit het probleem? Wat kunnen we daaraan doen? En wat staat daarbij op het spel? Dat willen Eva Droogmans en Piet Vandendriessche weten van Françoise Chombar, bestuursvoorzitter bij Melexis, en voorzitter van het STEM-platform.
