Loved the Pat day episode!!!

I liked the show before and even more when Zoe & Randy joined Bill on the podcast. I like their camaraderie and their willingness to address the uncomfortable issues that threaten the future of this sport some of us love in the United Stakes.

Not sure there has ever been a more important time for racing and this team will help you make sense of the news and the noise. Moreover, they do it with obvious love for the sport and for the horses racing in it, which is not always the same thing. Win, win

Their whiny political views are not necessary, unfortunately there is only a view of big time owners and never a thought of how the people not on the Derby trail try to make a living and continue to keep the industry alive and folks employed. It would be good for this crew to spend six months living in a dorm room on the backside and get up every morning before the light of day to work a bit.

Admittedly, most racing podcasts could use a “critical” balancing voice. This is the rare racing podcast that could make use of even one regular co-host who regularly has positive things to say. What does TDN stand for? Thoroughly Depressing News!

I tuned in to hear Christophe Clemente talk about his good start at Saratoga. Nearly an hour into it, I was still waiting to hear Clemente. Instead A LOT of time (almost a full hour!) was spent talking about COVID, jockeys, protocols, Del Mar, masks, etc. NOT exactly uplifting and precisely the kind of noise Race fans want to avoid. No one’s interested in your opinion on masks or your opinion that this won’t end until we have a vaccine (implying the necessity of EVERYONE getting a vaccine). Do us a favor and STICK TO RACING. It’s what your podcast is supposed to be about and why people tune in.
