    Elementary Number Theory by David M. Burton | Math Series

    Thanks for tuning into another episode! This episode reads an excerpt from the second edition of David M. Burton, "Elementary Number Theory". Yes, this a math book! It is an older math book comprised mostly of theorems and proofs but I was delighted to find that it gives a lot of history and context to the time period and mathematicians for which the theorems are named.  I am currently taking up number theory as a pastime and find it to be very rewarding in more ways than one. It has caused me to see that even in the seemingly simple facts of life, there lies a world of complexity.  Did you enjoy this math history lesson? Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks for tuning into another episode! We are reading Chapter 9 in "A Return to Love" by Marianne Willamson where we will briefly discuss what work means to us and how it relates to love. Do what you love and you will always love what you do! This reading relates to the post-covid world of what work means to us as many of us have lost our jobs and seemingly have lost our purpose. This is to motivate you and to inspire you to live your life on purpose everyday....as your purpose is your job!     Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle & Matt 25:1-13 | Sobriety Series

    Hello beings of love and light! This is the start of the Sobriety Series. I am currently abstaining from marijuana ("weed") and alcohol so I wanted to record this to encourage some of us out there who may also be on their sobriety journey.  Addiction can plague any of us, whether it's an addiction to drugs, alcohol, food, shopping, or addiction to toxic relationships or addiction to thinking. Addictions can come in many forms and we may have more than one addiction at a time. For me, instead of kicking one or two addictions, I would rather quit succumbing to addictive style thinking and living altogether. This leads me to consider the power of our conscious mind. I hope you will join me with your mug of tea as I discuss wisdom from "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and a passage from the bible, Matthew 25:1-13. May you enjoy.
