Through that exposure to people in different levels of organizations, he spotted the need for coaching, not only for other managers but starting with himself. He then became trained in a method called integral coaching and helped people grow within tech and, more recently, outside tech too.

    Yota Trom is a software engineer-turned-coach, and the founder of Together in tech, a tech community with over 6000 members. She has worked in tech for over 15 years, leading teams at Amazon and Yahoo before getting her MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching. Her pioneering research and resultant publications explore the intersection of coaching and positive psychology. As a UN Women UK Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Yota is a powerful advocate for gender diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

    Her mission to help people in tech unlock their inner confidence and become inspiring leaders has brought her to work with some of Europe's biggest tech companies, including Sky, Booking.com, Delivery Hero, Amazon, and Google. Yota holds an advisory role to the board of UCL School of Management, contributing her expertise to further education and leadership development.

    Loneliness Epidemic, Friendships and Mental Health in Times of Layoffs and Burnout with Gitte Klitgaard

    How can we feel closer to one another and less lonely? What can we do to start small, make mistakes and be human?



    Gitte Klitgaard is an agile coach, trainer, advisor and mentor focusing on helping organizations implement psychological safety, responsibility, and accountability. She does this by working with teams and individuals. Among many other things she is coaching, advising, and mentoring managers and other leaders. Gitte is authentic, she will cut to the chase, and help people become themselves thereby reaching success.

    Her community contributions include organizing coach camps, and speaking at conferences, where she highlights and makes topics like mental health and psycholological safety accessible. She creates safe and respectful environments at work and outside. She listens to and engages the more silent voices and minority groups.

    So far she has keynoted on three continents and recently she contributed a chapter on team safety in The Art of Agile Development 2. edition.

    In her spare time, Gitte collects LEGO and Yodas and keeps in touch with friends from all over the globe including some, she considers her second family.

    Gitte is owner of Native Wired and has lead change at companies like IBM, LEGO, and Spotify.
