Cousera courses are good but most non-programmers drop out of these courses. This is a problem, because it is important that those who understand the business processes best also need a basic methodological understanding of data science. The resulting communication problems between data scientists and managers lead to the failure of projects.

Wie bootstrapped man ein Data-Startup zum Unicorn? - Bastian (Mitgründer von Celonis) führt uns durch die Anfänge und Phasen von Celonis
Am Rande des SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfels hatte ich die Möglichkeit Bastian Nominacher (Co-Founder und CEO von https://www.celonis.com/) zu treffen. Heute ist Celonis ein internationales Unternehmen mit mehr als 800 Mitarbeitern und den größten Unternehmen der Welt als Kunden. Bastian führt uns ganz an den Anfang der Gründung und verrät wie er mit seinen Mitgründern bis zum Unicorn-Status gebootstrapped sind. Ein Tipp von Bastian, den ich gerne mit euch vorab teilen möchte: B2B Startups kann man gut bootstrappen, indem man Kunden für Kunden gewinnt. Wichtig ist nur, dass man den Fokus behält und selber weiß wohin man das Endprodukt weiter entwickeln möchte. Ansonsten läuft man Gefahr, dass man das Kernprodukt verwässert.
