Tech Talk
A tech podcast hosted by Tech Tim & Tech Ted, two regular dads who just happen to be experts in the world of tech! Each week, the guys give tips and tricks for fellow tech heads (and tech dads!) and explore exciting news, rumors and even gossip from the world of tech!
For when you’re d to t (tep)
2023/10/26
Often times at night while I comb the full head of hair on my child-father Elon puppet, I think about the bravery of Tim and Ted. These guys are so relatable, I feel like it’s listening to my own soul torn out and divided into equal dad souls. Truly the Watson and Crick of the tep era. Every breathtaking Tep Talk report on the state of Steve’s will gives me hope for the next day. Am just certain there are instructions for getting my wife back contained in the will. She wants me back, but Tim Cook has clouded her mind. Anyway, I am looking for you guys. You never say what city you’re in, so I have been traveling between every non Delaware Best Buy parking lot for months now to reunite for the first time with my tep brethren. How many more could there be? See you soon!
For Dads and the Fathers-In-Spirit
2023/02/10
These two have their fingers on the pulse of the the culture as it intersects with fatherhood - they are the David Brookses of dads. If you want to know what it’s like to be a father, less the fact of being the father of children and more the ontological and epistemic state of fatherhood, this is a vital document.
Pretty good but too much tech

I’m not a dad but I do love podcasts that are more fun to make than to listen to. This is the best one I’ve ever found, hands down. Way too much tech though.
Talking Tep: An Exploration of Late-Capitalist Masculinities
2022/12/01
Someday, many years into the future, an audio archaeologist will stumble upon this podcast and decide to write their dissertation on it. They will examine the expression of masculinity in the context of late capitalism, manifesting as an obsession with technology and the accolades achieved by those skilled with it. Tim and Ted, finding themselves unable to be engaged dads, construct for themselves a new vision of what a dad is, perpetuating the intergenerational trauma of broken relationships with a father. They yearn for intimacy but are unable to exercise the responsibility to others that it requires. Instead, they emulate the example set by tech celebrities like Elon Musk, who acts with impunity and is lauded for his genius. To that audio archaeologist, I say two things: Start from the beginning WHY ARE YOU SO PRETENTIOUS AND WHAT DO YOUR WORDS EVEN MEAN AND TIM AND TED HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG
