I need to just say thank you for this with the friends and especially the birthday example. I went all out on my bff’s birthday and when it came to mine she didn’t even text me on my birthday or even say anything at school until I brought it up. And she also didn’t get me anything and ofc it’s not abt the gifts ever but I made me feel horrible and not valued. With her lately I have been feeling like I have to babysit her and like I’m not allowed to hand out with other people and this episode really did help me understand that I don’t have to hold back from having friends bc of her. We have so much alike lol
