Flow into Strength: 10-Minute Morning Yoga

Make a little room for strength this morning. In this Ten-Minute Mornings practice, I’ll guide you through a flowing sequence of core work, Chaturangas and standing poses, with time afterward to settle your breath and reflect. If you’re following along with just the audio, don’t worry about doing it right. Just move and breathe in a way that feels honest. We’ll begin with Cat–Cow and wrist preparation, then move through plank and Chaturanga, with knees-down and Cobra options. Half-boat core work alternates with reclining twists, figure-four stretches and Bridge Pose before we come to standing for Warrior variations. A quicker final round offers standing split or Pyramid Pose, and you’re welcome to take fewer push-ups or make your movements smaller along the way. Watch this practice on YouTube: https://youtube.com/live/7zoF028vFP8 The movement portion is about ten minutes. Stay afterward for today’s oracle card and reflection. I reflect on the conversations we replay, the feelings that linger and the patience of returning to what still needs our attention. Instead of pushing it away, we can pause, sit with it and ask: “What do I need to really resolve this?” There’s an unexpected carpet-cleaner analogy along the way—and a reminder that we may need to revisit the same question more than once. Start Your Day on Purpose | 10-Minute Morning Yoga

Take a few minutes for mindful movement and begin your day on purpose. Don’t worry about doing every shape perfectly—simply move and breathe in a way that feels honest. We begin by grounding in Mountain Pose before opening the shoulders, neck and upper back. From there, we move through Forward Fold, Plank, Downward-Facing Dog, Lizard Lunge twists, Wide-Legged Forward Fold and Skandasana. A toe-hold Side Plank offers a playful balance and core challenge before we return to standing. Watch the YouTube video: https://youtube.com/live/4ltfXzf6_Gg Today’s oracle card is “Unconscious.” Its printed message is: “The mindful actions of the higher path lead to contentment.” How much of the day do we move through without thinking? Automatic routines are necessary, but this card invites us to choose a few ordinary moments—making coffee, preparing lunch or beginning a familiar task—and approach them more consciously. Nearly anything can become a ritual when we pause, show up and do it deliberately. Feel Grounded & Move with Intention | 10-Minute Morning Yoga

Start the day by waking up your spine, grounding your body, and choosing how you want to meet what comes. This audio-guided 10-minute morning yoga practice invites you to move and breathe honestly—without worrying about doing it perfectly. We begin on the back with gentle spinal traction and Bridge Pose before moving through Cat-Cow, Downward-Facing Dog, a standing fold, Crescent Lunges with twists and optional quad stretches, and a flowing High Lunge and Prayer Twist sequence. Its printed message is: “Be a channel for divine sight, thought, and speech.” The reflection asks what it means to become a channel rather than forcing an answer or searching for something that is not there. Can we pause, breathe, and allow ourselves to receive and transmit something greater? What would you have me see? What would you have me say? What will you choose to channel today—the ego and drama of the world, or something better? Prepare Body & Mind for the Week | 10-Minute Morning Yoga

Take a few minutes to move, breathe and prepare your body and mind for whatever the day—or the week—might hold. This short morning yoga practice is an opportunity to connect with yourself without worrying about doing everything perfectly. If you’re practicing with audio only, simply move and breathe in a way that feels honest. That’s enough. We begin with Cat-Cow and shoulder-opening twists before flowing through Plank, Downward-Facing Dog, standing stretches, High Lunges, prayer twists, Chair Pose and Diver’s Pose. The practice gradually wakes up the spine, shoulders and legs before bringing the movements together in a short flowing sequence. Watch the YouTube video: https://youtube.com/live/oGQ0oMng05Y Chapters: 00:00 Audio introduction 00:16 Practice welcome 00:46 Cat-Cow and shoulder-opening twists 02:54 Plank, Child’s Pose and Downward-Facing Dog 03:47 Forward Fold and standing stretches 05:02 Vinyasa and first side 06:10 Chair Pose and Diver’s Pose 06:49 Second side 08:11 Full flow and Revolved Chair 09:38 Seated pause 10:15 Oracle card: Non-Grasping 14:33 Closing the practice 15:24 Podcast closing Today’s card from the Yoga Wisdom Oracle Deck: Non-Grasping Depicted pose: Boat Pose with a toe bind Printed message: “Cling not to outcomes. Life will unfold as it will.” A physical bind is meant to deepen a posture, not change it. If we have to force our bodies out of alignment to achieve a particular shape, we may be grasping at someone else’s idea of what yoga is supposed to look like rather than trusting our own experience. The same lesson applies beyond the mat. We can establish a foundation, create supportive conditions and remain open to the outcome without trying to control exactly how or when it arrives. The result may exceed our expectations or fall short of them, but we can meet it when we’re ready—physically, mentally, emotionally and professionally. Root to Rise: A 10-Minute Morning Yoga Flow

Ground down to feel lighter in this 10-minute morning yoga flow for balance, stability and energy. On Fridays we flow, using a strong connection through the feet, hands, legs and core to create more length and freedom throughout the body. We begin with a standing warm-up before moving through Plank, Downward Facing Dog, High Lunge, Warrior Two, Triangle, Wide-Legged Forward Fold, twists and Crescent Lunge. As the practice builds, you’ll have opportunities to step or float through the transitions, with options for Standing Split, Pyramid and Half Moon. If you would prefer to practice with the video, you can find it here: https://youtube.com/live/ZkHgbGjjptQ CHAPTERS 0:00 Audio introduction 0:14 Root, rise, ground, float and flow 0:46 Grounding Mountain Pose warm-up 2:26 Plank and Downward Facing Dog foundations 3:34 Right-side standing sequence 5:56 Practicing the forward float 6:59 Left-side standing sequence 9:02 Full flowing sequence 11:35 Return to Mountain Pose 11:51 Oracle card: Karma 15:53 Closing 16:28 Podcast outro Today’s Yoga Wisdom Oracle card is “Karma.” The card depicts a shape I describe as a variation of Extended Side Angle Pose. Its printed message is: “Unlearned lessons and unrealized effort hold unclaimed growth.” In our reflection, we consider karma not simply as a system of reward or punishment, but as an invitation to notice the lessons we are moving through. When we approach our lives and relationships with openness, we can ask what we need to learn, how we can be of service and what the right effort might be. When we become receptive to that understanding, the lessons may grow clearer—and we may become more able to see and do the next right thing. Activate Your Core, Direct Your Energy: 10-Minute Morning Yoga

This 10-minute morning yoga practice activates the core, opens the hips and wakes up the spine so you can begin the day grounded in something steady and real. If you’re practicing with audio only, don’t worry about doing everything perfectly. Simply move and breathe in a way that feels honest. That’s enough. We begin with Cat and Cow before moving through Plank, Cobra and Downward-Facing Dog. Low lunges, twists and upright Pigeon open the hips, followed by Boat Pose, Hollow Body holds, Bridge and breath-led leg extensions to strengthen the center. We finish with spinal twists and your choice of Legs Up the Wall or Plow Pose. Practice with the accompanying YouTube video: https://youtube.com/live/-ur7bxDL1XQ CHAPTERS 0:00 Podcast introduction 0:16 Morning yoga for core activation 0:39 Cat and Cow 1:24 Plank, Cobra and Downward-Facing Dog 2:27 Low lunges and twists 3:10 Pigeon Pose and seated twist 4:28 Second-side Pigeon and twist 6:07 Malasana 6:29 Boat and Hollow Body core work 7:05 Bridge Pose 7:24 Leg extensions and spinal twists 9:05 Legs Up the Wall or Plow Pose 10:05 Seated grounding 10:31 Oracle card: Self-Mastery 10:47 Focus, energy and self-mastery 13:35 Closing reflection 14:21 Podcast outro TODAY’S ORACLE CARD “Self-Mastery,” depicting a variation of Dancer Pose Printed message: “Directed attention generates energy, potency, and fulfillment.” Self-mastery isn’t a finished state but a lifelong practice. When we direct our attention with greater intention, we gather energy that might otherwise be scattered across many different things. Like light concentrated into a laser beam, focused attention becomes more potent and purposeful. The reflection invites us to notice where we’re placing our energy—and where we might choose to concentrate it in service of our practice, our community and the world around us. Morning Yoga for Energy & Focus: Move Slowly to Wake Up Quickly

Sometimes the fastest way to wake up is to slow down. In this 10-minute morning yoga practice, we’ll move and breathe with intention to build energy, ground our focus and prepare for whatever the day may hold. If you’re practicing with audio only, don’t worry about doing everything perfectly. Simply move and breathe in a way that feels honest. That’s enough. We begin by waking up the spine with Cat and Cow before moving into Bird Dog variations, supported Half Moon, low lunges and wide-legged forward folds. Warrior flows, Side Plank and Skandasana help us build warmth, followed by optional explorations of Triangle and Half Moon Pose. Throughout the practice, let your breath lead and bring your attention inward. Practice with the accompanying YouTube video: https://youtube.com/live/_HxeD-xsOt0 CHAPTERS 0:00 Podcast introduction 0:16 Morning yoga for energy and focus 0:40 Cat and Cow 1:26 Bird Dog and supported Half Moon 1:55 Downward Dog and low lunge 2:29 Wide-legged fold and Warrior flow 3:33 Child’s Pose and second side 6:23 Forward fold and standing reset 6:52 Energizing Warrior flow 7:42 Side Plank, Skandasana and Half Moon 8:40 Breath-led transition 9:01 Second-side Warrior flow 10:34 Final flow and Mountain Pose 10:48 Oracle card 11:14 Training 11:29 Practice, detachment and focus 14:54 Closing reflection 15:37 Podcast outro TODAY’S ORACLE CARD “Training,” depicting Plank Pose Printed message: “Settle the fluctuations of the mind with practice and detachment.” In our physical yoga practice, challenging balance postures ask us to concentrate the mind, breathe calmly and stay present. Practice helps us steady the mind; detachment reminds us that it doesn’t matter if we wobble or fall out of a pose. That lesson extends beyond the mat. Even when we have real responsibilities to our work, our families or the people around us, taking a moment to center ourselves can help us serve from a deeper and more grounded place.
