All aspects of my life feel transitory. So, I need somewhere to get my thoughts out, and maybe that'll help others in the process. This is my attempt to be less mysterious, to provide insight into my thought processes, a peek at my brilliantly chaotic mind. May you listen with an unconditional ear and empathetic soul.     Herzog

    According to Wikipedia, the term "Herzog" is a German hereditary title held by one who rules a territorial duchy, exercises feudal authority over an estate called a duchy, or possesses a right by law or tradition to be referred to by the ducal title. This conversation has nothing to do with the term, but for some reason, the Apple memos app saved this recording under this title...weird, right? Anyways, I'm discussing how hate is an embodied reality within this country (the United States)...

    It's not that I don't want to be vulnerable, but I am constantly on the fence about whether it is necessary to tell my story. Especially now, when everyone has a story to tell. IDK but here's me thinking through that shit.

    Valid Crashout

    These are really for me, and if they resonate with you, then I'm glad they do! I recorded this before the start of the spring quarter (so during spring break), and now that I'm thinking about it, I was justified in being anxious about everything! We're looking at stress, brainstorming an imitation theory (briefly), and my thoughts before I head to the American South for the summer.

    "Of the New Idol" A Passage from Nietzsche "Thus Spoke Zarathustra

    Not sure why I felt the need to record this passage, maybe because of everything going on right now, and the comparisons between states? I think Nietzsche was onto something, and right now I'm researching and exploring some of his work. This is one of his first books I've started reading. I plan to revisit this thought at a later time. I would love to hear others' opinions about this passage!

    Intuitively Anxious Ramblings

    Yes, it feels like the world is burning and unravelling in front of our eyes. I'm also working on assignments for my classes, trying to build my brand, business, identity, etc. I'm grateful for this journey, but it does get overwhelming at times.     Rest and then some...

    YOU'RE ALLOWED TO REST!!! You don't have to give it 100% every day, all the time; what is up with you? There's nothing wrong with you...🫶🏿🫶🏾🫶🏽 Decolonial work should feel crazy, your literal identity is being unpacked and repackaged, and then you're forced to navigate a world that will shame you for thinking and being contradictory to what has been normalized. STILL, DO IT ANYWAY!

    Fear & Creative Stagnation

    Fear is something that manifests differently for everyone. For me, I have always disliked the idea of being "seen," in the sense of having a microscope or magnifying glass fixated on me. How do you participate in society as an artist or intellectual and simultaneously deal with the paralyzing reality of being seen? To be clear, I don't have an answer to that question, but...I know I'm not alone.
