    Spring Interns - 2024

    Time to... TERN IT UP! Welcome to the latest episode of WGI's podcast series, "Tern it Up," where we go behind the scenes for a beyond-the-office look at our awesome interns at WGI as we learn about some of their interests, goals, and their favorite free-time hobbies. In this episode, we interviewed two interns from our Civil division to discuss their experiences & milestones during their internship at WGI. Elizabeth De Leon Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Elizabeth dedicates her time to honing her skills in graphic design and exploring the culinary arts. She also intends to travel once she graduates! Sarah Hinojosa Recently, Sarah has developed an interest in reading movie-based books. In addition to her love for reading, she has recently discovered a passion for disc golf, also known as frisbee golf. So grab your headphones and get ready to TERN IT UP! Ready to Join the Team?     About Our Featured Interns With backgrounds stretching from all walks of life, here's a sneak peek into a few of our Summer 2023 interns: Ryan Rinzel Buildings - Structural Engineering Intern The University of Florida - Majoring in Mechanical Engineering Hobbies & Interests: When not in the office, Ryan has recently found himself fishing or hitting the links for a round of golf in his spare time (for as long as his patience will hold out). Rebecca Chulhan Transportation - Roadway Intern Florida Atlantic University - Majoring in Environmental Engineering Hobbies & Interests: Having previously worked part-time at a gym prior to joining WGI, Rebecca truly just loves to stay active. Whether it's working out for hours or just hitting the beach, you'll always find Rebecca on the move. Zachary Welz Civil Engineering Intern The University of Florida - Majoring in Civil Engineering & Real Estate Hobbies & Interests: Zachary can be found skimboarding at the beach in his spare time, as he has since he was a kid.
