    Terpene Therapy #210: An Unexpected Conversation With A Similar Self From The Past and The Future

    Today's episode was going to be focused on harm reduction + information about one of my favorite compounds: 2c-b. This is one of Alexander Shulgin's most prized creations and it deserves a bit of a spotlight on this podcast! But if it had been, this would have been on par for the magic that is contained within some psychedelic experiences. I've always felt that the visual/auditory effects are 10% of the experience and the real magic lies in the unexpected happenings and conversations that occur during the trip. After this conversation I was left with the sense that I had ran into myself but from the past and future simultaneously.  We are all of the great One, but there are fragments that are more similar to other fragments in the pool of unique expressions of the One. I felt like I found one of those fragments today.  Beyond that, I'm not sure quite what to make of this one, other than it was a unique experience. To quote The Dead "Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right". Support the show

    Terpene Therapy #209: A Rare Snowy Hike With Sheba

    This week I'm capturing a new trail and the rare snowy weather for my area with Sheba. She absolutely loves the snow and can't get enough of hiking out here! I also discuss some more of the dreams that I've been having since I've been battling the heavy sleep for the past couple of weeks.     Terpene Therapy #208: Low Energy Week + Dream Journaling

    This week I've been hit with the curse of low energy which is a part of existing with bipolar disorder; I have always existed at some point along the sine wave. The lows can be just as bad as the highs although the highs can lead to making crazier decisions. When I'm low I just sleep a lot.     Terpene Therapy #207: Therapy Update + The Body Keeps The Score

    This week I've been doing some listening to an audiobook of The Body Keeps The Score that was recommended to me by the therapist that I'm currently working with! I'm on chapter 4 right now and decided to take some notes on how my experience with PTSD relates to the information provided in the literature. I still have some months left on my journey of integration before I get back to utilizing cannabis as a tool to enhance my quality of life, and I finally feel like I'm beginning to make some progress on the healing of my PTSD symptoms. Rather than just abating the suffering. I hope to be in a different place mentally and spiritually before I return to one of my favorite things in the world! Support the show

    Terpene Therapy #206: Amanita Analysis / Muscimol Musings

    This week I'm exploring a new compound that I haven't discussed on the podcast yet! Muscimol is an interesting compound with a unique pharmacological profile, it feels like a stimulating version of ambien with a slight variation on the visual auditory aspects. This compound is derived from the Amanita Muscaria mushroom and is worth exploring if you're into all of the potential experiences that our universe has created for our consciousness.  I've always been fascinated by what nature can produce and this experience reinforced that notion.     Terpene Therapy #205: TBM Growth + A Jungian Hike

    In this episode I'm back in the Trichocereus tent to show the progress on the TBM + the seedlings! There was a bit of sunburn and dehydration that occured when I got the flu a couple of weeks ago, and we're still in the process of healing that this week. I also go on the first hike of 2026 and discuss some of the philosophical ideas that have been floating around in my consciousness. Particularly the Jungian concept of the Dark Night Of The Soul. I first learned of this concept reading PIHKAL by Alexander Shulgin. If you haven't read this, erowid has a copy online of part 2 of the book.     Terpene Therapy #203: Introducing Cactus Carl the Trichocereus Bridgesii Monstrose!

    This week we revived the tent with some new lifeforms! Specifically a Trichocereus Bridgesii Monstrose that has three segments currently! These cacti have been utilized for thousands of years by human beings to connect and commune with the universe and are an essential tool in any explorers toolkit! I go over some of the alkaloids and triterpinoids found in this species as well as some other trichocereus varieties other than the TBM. Terpenes are found in all kinds of plants so it's important to cover all of the ones used for exploration of the mind, body, and soul! I am currently recovering from a cold so this episode is shorter, stay tuned for next week's Chrimmus special where I will be sowing seeds several other Trichocereus varieties and documenting their growth over the next few months!  Thank you all for the continued support!
