    The Montauk Project

    The Montauk Project

On this episode of The Terribly Vexed Podcast we discuss the infamous Montauk Project. Since the early 1980’s rumors have persisted about a secret government base located underneath the small town of Montauk, NY on the eastern tip of Long Island.
What was once a defense base used by the air force during World War 2 is now believed by many to be the home of some of the most outlandish experiments ever conducted by the United States military. Time portals, Nazi gold, teleportation, telekinesis, extraterrestrial contact, horrific psychological procedures, the men in black, General Patton, and Nikola Tesla himself are just a few of the many conspiracies that relate directly to The Montauk Project.
Join us as we talk about the origin of the conspiracy, some of the terrifying occurrences that happened at the base, and a few of the films and TV shows that were inspired by the supposedly true stories.

    Parapolitics

    Parapolitics

On this episode of the Terribly Vexed Podcast we step into the murky world of black budgets, covert operations, espionage, hidden alliances, and secret oaths in the unseen world of parapolitics. Loosely defined, the term parapolitics describes either covert political activity that is hidden from the public or a complete (de facto) political system, typically comprising elements of the military and intelligence apparatus, hidden from the public; political actions of subterfuge, secrecy, and deceit. Conspiracy theory and parapoltics are synonymous with each other; it was a conspiracy that lead to the assassination of JFK, but it was the covert nature of hidden parapolitical movements that implemented the nefarious plot. CIA drug running, mind control, sexual blackmail, and assassinations, parapolitics is everything the corporate media isn’t permitted to discuss.

Dr. Joseph Bell - The Real Sherlock Holmes

Dr. Joseph Bell - The Real Sherlock Holmes

On this episode of The Terribly Vexed Podcast the fellas talk about Dr. Joseph Bell. In 1877, a young outpatient clerk named Arthur Conan Doyle began watching Dr. Bell's incredible powers of observation, deduction, and reasoning while dealing with patients. From something as simple as the color of the mud on a patients shoes Dr. Bell could deduce a patients occupation, where he or she lived, and which boat had ferried them that morning. As a writer, Conan Doyle was inspired by Dr. Bell's "method" and created a character that has become a household name, and one of the most popular detectives of all time.

Dr. Bell was also a pioneer of forensic science and paved the way for what we now know as C.S.I. As well as helping countless patients throughout his lifetime, he was also called upon to assist police in many cases including the Jack the Ripper murders.

Lazarus Taxon with Zookeeper Kevin Hunt

Lazarus Taxon with Zookeeper Kevin Hunt

On this episode of the Terribly Vexed Podcast, we interview zookeeper Kevin Hunt. Kevin has had a life-long passion for conservation and the protection of animals. He also has an extensive background in working with wildlife, including but not limited to primates, elephants, and reptiles. He has also been a consultant in a number of productions from television to movies and maintains many close professional relationships with doctors of veterinary medicine, as well as being up to date in all the latest scientific literature.

Josh and Kevin have known each other since the earliest days of elementary school, and in a recent conversation Kevin suggested that we do an episode on newly rediscovered species being found around the world that were thought to be extinct.

In this episode, Kevin explains how a lot of these discoveries are made and applies his own reasoned knowledge and experience to the controversial study of cryptozoology and the possibility of even stranger, more unusual, and yet unconfirmed creatures existing in the vast reaches of the yet unexplored regions of the Earth.

The Tasmanian Tiger, McCord's Box Turtle, Takahe Birds, Dracorex Hogwartsia, the Coelacanth, Bigfoot, The Bloop, and The Loch Ness Monster...we cover it all!

    Dyatlov Pass 2019 Investigation

    Dyatlov Pass 2019 Investigation

On this episode of the Terribly Vexed Podcast, Josh and Justin talk about the infamous Dyatlov Pass Incident.
In January of 1959, nine experienced hikers, led by Igor Dyatlov, lost their lives in the Ural Mountains of Northern Russia. The odd evidence left behind and the gruesome remains of the hikers has spawned controversy, conspiracy theories, documentaries, movies, books, and podcasts in the sixty-three years since the events took place. To this day there has not been an official explanation as to what actually occurred that evening.
Since most people listening to this type of podcast already know the details of the incident, the fellas give a quick overview of the case, but mainly discuss the latest investigation that took place in 2019. Other popular theories are discussed as well. We hope you enjoy the show!

The Vexed Boys

These guys are great, their episodes are great. And I would have to say they are terribly vexed. Pls don't stop making episodes pls. Disappearance of Dennis Martin and Interview with Dwight McCarter was the first two episodes I listened to and they are great. Also the other episodes are great. Great work boyz.

Fun and Interesting

Like shooting the breeze about conspiracy theories with a couple of friends. A lot of humor, banter but interesting facts that are often present a little different side of the story from events you may think you know all the facets of.

Killer job

I’ve been listening since the beginning, although I usually listen on Spotify. I’d like to see more frequent episodes dropping but understand how that can be hard. Being an east Tennessee native myself this is especially interesting for me. Keep up the good work guys!
