He explains the psychology behind why humour increases engagement and how playful learning taps into the brain's neuroplasticity, making it easier for students to grasp and remember. Guest - Mohammad Ali Heidari-Shahreza is a university professor, teacher educator, and interdisciplinary educational researcher with a focus on playful learning, particularly humor-integrated education. His extensive research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Humor: International Journal of Humor Research, TESOL Journal, and Comedy Studies. He has authored several books and contributed chapters to edited volumes by prominent publishers like Routledge and Springer.
