Yes Isn’t Always The Best Answer…
A “Yes” to something that doesn’t serve you can mean a silent “No” to something that is important in your life. In this episode, Jody and Morgon explore the difference between doing something because you want to do it versus something you feel obligated to do. For every action there is a reaction and it’s often our personal well-being that suffers from saying “Yes” when we really want to say “No.”

Quiet Quitting
This is a term that one of our listeners wrote in and asked that we talk about. Many people go to work daily and practice quiet quitting. There are even people that get jobs where their sole intention is quiet quitting. Have you heard of this term before? Have you met anyone that you can remember that may have been a quiet quitter? Jody helps Morgon bring to light an occasion where he was a quiet quitter and didn’t even realize it.

One reason people make New Year’s resolutions is because they are not happy with some part of themselves or life. Listen to Jody and Morgon talk through how we find the happiness that we seek.

What is Toxic Positivity?
Hmmm… You may be thinking what does that mean? That’s the same question Jody and Morgon asked themselves when they first heard the term. What better way to learn and teach than to discuss toxic positivity in another great episode of That L-Word.

Worth your time to listen
I don’t have much spare time in my day but this podcast definitely makes my short list of things I make time to listen to! Create content, guests, and great hosts!
Refreshing, humble advice
Love this podcast! Last one I listened to touched on the ultra race RAAM. I loved that the discussion was about how teams work together and practical advice on recovery, people moments, growth and development. It was not about how awesome or amazing a RAAM rider is physically. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the athletics of doing something like that. But more importantly, what makes someone like that tick? What is important to them? What do the focus on or think about in terms of humanity. You will find content like that here. Content like that grows, informs and inspires the human condition. Keep it coming!
Great leadership advice!
This podcast is great! It provides very practical and applicable leadership tools.
