9 - Oh Just Philosophical Stuff

9 - Oh Just Philosophical Stuff

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) ask each other random philosophical questions just to see... you know if we are on the same page or not. I'm honestly NO GOOD at small talk, or the whole "mingling" situation so I like to joke to those close to me that my way of having small talk is to drop huge philosophical questions like "Why do we respect the dead more than the living?". I love thinking about how quick I could get people to "circle the room" if I were to actually add these to every day convos. Anyway... this is a short  one from us and we flip flop between trying to find a middle ground and not. Thanks for listening!!!

    8 - Birthday Psychopaths

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) discuss psychopaths. It's a birthday episode and on birthdays the person gets to pick one of their favorite topics - I chose psychopaths because I've been fascinated by them since I watched Psycho as a kid. Since it's my birthday episode we are kindly asking that if you'd like to give me any birthday love - please listen, like and leave us a review! Gosh, thanks so much for following along!

7 - Vampires > Lord of the Rings

7 - Vampires > Lord of the Rings

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) discuss vampires. Yep, vampires  - don't worry we have some tricks up our sleeve so it's not all garlic, crosses and shadows (although there's a bit of that). Fair WARNING I got a huge bee in my bonnet about Lord of the Rings so I'd like to formerly apologize to any LOTR fans out there. It's me, not you, I promise. I have a hard time digesting "fantasy" genres and we spend a bit of time discussing that. Apart from that there's not much to highlight, Seth ate steak and I cried in the shower. Thanks for sticking with us!

6 - This or That, Now or Then

6 - This or That, Now or Then

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) discuss "what's more important, doing the right thing or doing things right". Cue our first deep, existential, philosophical question! We start out strong and pretty black & white but by the end land on... I guess it all depends and boils down to the moment and what that moment calls for. On a light hearted note Seth has another beer of the week and I try to read a paragraph length quote without messing up. WE think this chat actually holds some gold nuggets and hope you find them too.

5 - Cults Vol. 1 (and how I might have joined one)

5 - Cults Vol. 1 (and how I might have joined one)

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) discuss cults and how I might have joined one. Oops! You might think I'm kidding but sadly I'm not. We have lots of thoughts on the topic so this most likely will be the start of a bigger conversation hence the vol. 1. We share some of our current favorite binge worthy shows and our dog Flynn makes an appearance with his tap dancing around our apartment (we tried to edit it out but he steals the show none the less). On the topic of cults we share our thoughts on what we think they are, why they can be appealing and some of the traits that lead someone to create a cult and then some of what leads people down the path of being in one. I share some strange and sinister things I ended up doing so while long it's worth listening to through the end.

    4 - Hugh Grant Hygge

    4 - Hugh Grant Hygge

In this episode Seth (him) and Andie (me) discuss HYGGE (hue-ga). Ironically we discuss all things hygge on the 4th of July which in my opinion kind of feels like the opposite of hygge itself. The act of creating cozy togetherness can in fact be had in any season and any where and is much more about the 'feeling' side of things rather than the things themselves. We hope you cozy up and like this episode!

Smart, Charming and Real!

It will only take a few minutes before you are asking yourself - wait, aren’t I already friends with these two?! Andi and Seth are smart, charming and real and you will feel like you are sitting right there with them on the couch with a cold glass of Gruet. Their take on the 4th this year is so spot on! Looking forward to many more episodes to come!!

Listen if you want to make two new best friends

This podcast is great for anyone who likes to listen to thought-provoking conversations but also laugh along and call BS. Andie and Seth’s personalities really shine through. They make me feel like I’m in the room with them. I’ve definitely tried to join the conversation (basically every episode) and always laugh along. After listening to one episode, you’ll feel like they are your new best friends... trust me!
