    Face Your Giant: Becoming a Giant Killer Part 2-032-with Tyler and Jackson

    Apologies for the late upload on this one! I (Jackson) dropped the ball on getting the edit complete! But I think this discussion about facing your giants is a great one. We all have giants. We've got to face them or they're going to always loom over us. Remember you don't have to face them alone. When David went up against Goliath, he was not alone. God was with him. And the same God that was with David is with us. You can face your giants!

    Unseen Service: Blessings For those In Need-031-with Tommy Brooks

    This week Tommy Brooks joins Jackson and Tim to talk about service, fishing, and how to gain wisdom. A great asset to the congregation at Southside, Tommy helps in so many ways. He makes sure the flags are at half-mast when they're supposed to be, he fixes just about everything that needs fixing, and he cares for his wife of 50 years.     Joy in Service: Building Up Others-028-with Ricky Wells

    We had a great conversation this week with Ricky Wells, one of the deacons at Southside. He's creative, has a joy for serving, and his work ethic produces a lot of good work. This good work includes his family, the church, and even where he works. One of the key takeaways is 'If you're going to do something, do it right.' That's a mantra that Ricky lives by and we can see it expounded on in scripture (Colossians 3:23, the unofficial verse of the podcast)   We hope the episode this week is encouraging and helps you find joy in service as you walk with the Lord!
