However, when the original Hebrew roots and ancient Near Eastern context are examined without theological filters, a very different picture begins to emerge. Drawing on Mauro Biglino’s work as a Vatican approved biblical translator and Paul Wallis’s background as a senior churchman and scholar of ancient myth, this conversation challenges the accuracy of traditional translations.
