It has been a horrible week for the UK BMX community. This podcast was recorded on Friday 22nd September. Earlier today our dear friend Errol McLean was laid to rest. Our thoughts are with all his family and friends.

This is Part one of a two part podcast documenting the 2023 BMX British Championships.

Back by popular demand, Julian Allen is here to give us the full lowdown of what went on during day 1 with the under 12 categories and the cruisers.

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Tabitha Rendall who unfortunately passed away a day after recording this podcast.

Our thoughts are with all her family and the whole BMX community at this time as we all come to terms with her passing.

My guest today is Olympic BMX rider Kyle Evans.

Kyle has had quite a journey from his birth in Wigan all the way to the Olympic BMX track in Rio. 
Joining the British Cycling BMX team in 2010 as an athlete, he went on to achieve some incredible success on the track. Today he is busy coaching the next generation of BMX superstars.
