Ep60 - Enter the Ninja (1981) with Super Marcey
On today's episode I am joined by returning guest Super Marcey to discuss one of the progenitors for the "ninja craze" in 1981s Enter the Ninja.
Take a shot every time we say this is a weird movie if you want a real challenge! This is a movie that has not aged gracefully I'll say that much.

Ep58 - Karate Kill (2016) with Matthew Essary
In this episode, we dive into the world of Karate Kill, a martial arts soaked revenge tale with strong grindhouse vibes. The film follows Kenji, a mysterious loner and Karate master, whose little sister goes missing in Los Angeles. Determined to find her, Kenji embarks on a relentless quest, facing off against anyone who stands in his way.
Karate Kill offers plenty of action, colourful characters, and wild bloodshed. We explore the film's unique blend of martial arts and exploitation elements, discussing its impact on the genre and its reception among audiences. Join us as we dissect the thrilling fight sequences, delve into the film's themes, and analyse the performances of the cast.
Joining me today is the wandering ronin himself, Matthew Essary, a fellow connoisseur of the sleazier action movie.

Returning to talk about a true classic today we have Matthew Essary! Talking about the excellent 2001 Jet Li sci-fi flick "The One" which also happens to star another actor you may have heard of called Jason Statham. Jet pulls double duty here though, playing both the protagonist and antagonist of the film and given plenty of room to flex his acting muscles in the process. This is one you don't want to miss!
