The Amendment
This election year, our democracy hangs in the balance. We need news coverage that cuts past punditry and gives a voice to the new electorate – the marginalized folks that depend on a functioning democracy. Enter: The Amendment, a new podcast about gender, politics and power from The 19th News and Wonder Media Network, hosted by award-winning journalist and 19th editor-at-large Errin Haines. Each week, Errin sits down with people who have fresh perspectives on the state of our country – and asks questions that center the voices of women, queer folks, and people of color. The Amendment adds much needed asterisks to America’s most pressing political conversations – and gets clear on the unfinished work of our democracy. Hosted on Acast. I truly enjoy this podcast! It should be required listening — great conversations and facts about our democracy.
This is just a DNC operative channel

In the promotional intro, the host claims to be a journalist. She then almost immediately cuts to citing Nicole Hannah-Jones and the “evils” of Trump. She’s an operative, this show is trash, this is NOT news.
The Amendment is bringing the 19th to Life!

I was sad when the circus left town, but thrilled to see Errin step into the center ring! Yesterday’s episode with Tressie McMillan Cottom on being from the South resonated so deeply for me. Can’t wait to see how this season unfolds!
