    The National Concert Hall in Ireland has cancelled our planned performance of the OCTOBER 7 play.It seems there is no room in Ireland for the truth about Israel. This is very serious. It is terrible news for us - terrible news for the truth but really terrible news for Ireland’s reputation. We went to Israel after the massacres to collect the testimony of those who lived through the country’s darkest day. We saw there was a need for the truth in Ireland and further afield. We created OCTOBER 7, a verbatim play, from the stories we heard. The New York Post described the play as “compelling”. We bring the behind-the-scenes drama and our plans to beat the Irish ban.Watch today's podcast to hear the full behind-the-scenes story of how they are trying to kill the truth in Ireland. And the vile anti-Semitic abuse that we have experienced just for wanting to tell the truth. And we ask if Ireland is the most anti-Semitic country in Europe. The podcast features an interview with our old friend and frequent guest Jenny Holland. She has special insight into the madness as a former liberal journalist, who grew up in New York and is now living in Ireland. A brave soul indeed. She also has very interesting insights into the rot at the heart of the arts establishment on both sides of the Atlantic. It's worse than you think.     The War, the Play, and Ireland’s Reckoning

    You may have seen our recent email announcing the Irish premiere of our verbatim play OCTOBER 7. Well, there have been developments. The National Concert Hall (NCH), where the play is supposed to be performed as a staged reading, has been putting us through a roller coaster of cancellations, uncancellations and reconsiderations.  They are back to “considering” the reservation. The NCH are claiming they learned something new about the booking recently. Watch the podcast to find out what it was! And we explore why Ireland has the reputation for being the most anti-semitic country in Europe, going back over 100 years! It's a long show and could be longer. We expose two Irish presidents and the Dublin City councillors whose behaviour during an official meeting resembles that of your drunk, conspiracy theorist uncle at Thanksgiving dinner. Let's be clear. There’s nothing deceptive about OCTOBER 7 the play. There is no need to reconsider allowing it to be performed. It’s the pure testimony of people who survived Israel’s darkest day. We realized that journalists and activists either celebrated the 2023 massacre, ignored it or blamed Israel for the war in Gaza without mentioning the context. As journalists the responsibility fell on us so we went to Israel and interviewed survivors; the wounded, the bereaved, the rescuers and the heroes who fought back. From their heartbreaking testimony came our play which had a six week off-Broadway run and then toured America’s “elite” universities and most recently, the Kennedy Center.  As a journalist from the Federalist said:  “OCTOBER 7 the play offered something rare: moral clarity without instruction, faith without propaganda, and testimony without shame. It did not demand allegiance to one side, but it certainly demanded attention.” Ann brought you guys another crazy headline courtesy of Queen Elizabeth I.     This week on the Ann and Phelim Scoop podcast, we spend April Fool’s Day calling out the various fools we see in the world. Only they are not joking. And there are a lot of them. Sometimes it’s hard to work out what the joke headline is and what the real one is. Speaking of fools and four-legged friends (do squirrels have four legs?), the BBC is asking if UK citizens love dogs too much! The piece on dogs is presented as very innocent and funny. However, it is actually deeply sinister when you realize they are trying to soften up the public to accept dog bans to keep the UK’s huge Muslim population happy. Muslims consider dogs unclean, and as we all know, a multicultural society means doing whatever Muslims demand. And also on the podcast, Ann reveals a truth about abortion that no one wants to talk about. She exposes the horror of the abortion pill with the podcast’s good friend, Marjorie Dannenfelser. Marjorie is the president and co-founder of the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life organization and one of the best advocates for life in America today. Kermit Gosnell may be dead, but the horrific truth of abortion in America — especially with the unregulated use of the abortion pill — is ever present. Ann and Marjorie discuss where we are with abortion in America — the good news and the bad — from Dobbs to decriminalization. You won’t want to miss their discussion. And also on this week’s podcast, we bring you the latest on a new Hunter Biden documentary that is going to expose yet further criminality of the Biden family.     The Monster is Dead- the Story of Kermit Gosnell

    Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist and serial killer who butchered and killed women and babies for 30 years, has died in prison.We broke the story in our Substack (linked below) on Monday, and we have devoted all of this week's podcast to covering his life and crimes and honoring his victims. It's an important story.We knew Gosnell well. We covered his trial in Philadelphia, interviewed him in prison, and had dozens of jailhouse phone calls while researching the book, podcast, and movie we produced about his life and crimes.Gosnell was convicted in 2013 of murdering three infants born alive during illegal late-term abortions, whom he then killed by cutting their spinal cords with scissors. Gosnell was also found guilty of killing 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar, a refugee from Bhutan who died from a lethal overdose of anesthesia administered by unlicensed staff in his abortion clinic.When he died, Ann released a statement about meeting and talking with the monster that was Kermit Gosnell:“It was tough but it was a very, very important piece of journalism. Meeting Gosnell was one of the few times in my journalism career that I felt I was face to face with evil.“Gosnell is gone, but we should take time to think of the thousands of innocent babies who were his victims. They lived for a short period of time but must not be forgotten. They achieved some measure of justice with Gosnell’s prosecution and incarceration.“I think in particular of Baby Boy A, who was so big that even Gosnell’s workers were shocked by the barbarity of his killing and took a photo of him after he was murdered. He shook their hardened hearts. Baby Boy A lived for about an hour before he was killed. The picture of him curled up in a Tupperware container helped seal Gosnell’s fate and ensured he’d never kill again. That heartbreaking picture has also meant that I’m not the only one who will never forget Baby Boy A.“I’m also thinking of the two women who needlessly died in Gosnell’s diabolical clinic. Karnamaya Mongar, who came to this country as a refugee after living a life of danger in Bhutan. She came to America for refuge but four months later was dead at the hands of Gosnell.“And Semika Shaw, the young Black mother who tragically died after a botched abortion at the hands of Kermit Gosnell.“Their deaths were also caused because of bureaucratic incompetence and the liberal political imperative to shield abortion and abortionists from criticism.“These women were sacrificed for Progressive politics. Karnamaya Mongar and Semika Shaw were minorities in a city that claimed to care. It turns out Black Lives didn’t Matter after all.”This week, we look at the life and crimes of Kermit Gosnell with the man who put him behind bars.
