John Willis' Christian life began in 1962 when he was 17 years old and a senior in High School. He became very active in the local church, soon felt the call of God to preach. On July 10, 1965 John married the love of his life, Sheila K. Raines. Little did he know what God had in store for them. God called him into full-time ministry.  He dealt with his heart about the Evangelistic field soon after. The Willis' traveled the US for five years, seeing souls saved was their passion. After cancelling a year's worth of revival meetings, the Willis' went to work on a home mission's endeavor in Vevay, Indiana, pastoring there for 15 years, followed by pastoring 33 years in North Vernon, Indiana. While pastoring he served the Assemblies Of The Lord Jesus Christ as; Assistant State Superintendent, State Superintendent, National Youth Secretary, & National Youth Director. Every podcast is derived from hundreds of camp meetings, conferences, conventions & local church messages. You will hear, whether he is preaching to 50 or 10,000 people, the fervency never changes. He has a special way of painting a picture with words, interjecting humor, and helping someone see their need to be a better person.
