The Art Studio. Comics and art.

Although I’m new to these casts, Dan Burke gives good art studio conversation. Artists aiming to get through projects in their studio ought to find a pretty motivating tone and voice here.

this is a great podcast offering deep insight into the ins and outs, the trials and travails, the failures and successes of an artist's life, when the artist sticks to art topics. unfortunately, when he decides to go off topic and discuss his political views, which he seems to be doing more and more of late, he veers off into the realm of ideology, and presents a rather simplistic, black and white worldview, offering clichéd, hackneyed and predictable opinions typical of a person trapped in an ideological bubble. when he's discussing art, i'm scribbling notes as fast as he talks, when he's talking politics, i more on to the next podcast on my list. this is a really good podcast on being an artist, with much wisdom and insight. it's just a shame there's not more of it.

It's great having Dan back with The Art Studio. I enjoy the mix of art and art related subjects. My favorite shows are thoseco-hosted with George Leon.

It's great to see the Art Studio back on the airwaves. The latest episode with Alan Freeman was fantastic. I hope more shows are in the pipeline with Alan and maybe George Leon. Welcome back Dan.
