    You down wit "ODP/OVR? Yeah, you know me!"

It's officially the start of summer, and I've been getting a lot of questions regarding what is the difference between OVR/ODP (Naughty by Nature playing in the background :) ).     The 2024 Autism Fathers Conference (Wrap-up)/OVR or ODP; Power of Attorney or Guardianship?

    We are back with another episode. The 2024 Autism Fathers Conference was AMAZING! Listen as I go over some of the highs and lows of the conference, and planning for the 2025 conference. I also wanted to touch on the options of OVR (Office of Vocational Rehabilitation) and ODP (Office of Developmental Programs) for our "Ausome" loved ones, briefly and the importance of "Power of Attorney" and "Guardianship.     The Death of Ryan Gainer

    On March 11th, the news and media rang of a death in Apple Valley, California. 15-year-old Ryan Gainer was shot and killed by two California deputies. Ryan Gainer was an Ausome young man, who is gone too soon. This was a VERY emotional episode for me, as I have a 15-year-old; soon to be 16. On March 11th, I lost a child; we ALL lost a child.
