I’ve been in too many scenarios where people mistake kindness for weakness. And especially for us as health and wellness business leaders, I think we need to practice the art of being professionally petty. So today, I’m pulling out my notes and sharing 10 of my most powerful petty leadership moves. These are the things I do to keep my boundaries tight, my peace intact, and my leadership energy strong without saying too much. Because sometimes the best response is receipts, a sweetie, and a well-placed dot-dot-dot. It’s age, gender, culture, and income level. A Black woman in menopause has a different experience than a white woman in menopause. Our DNA is different, our trauma is different, the way stress is carried in the body is different. That means the way we market has to be different too.
