Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One | Worth the Watch?

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One | Worth the Watch? - Episode 178 I love Mission Impossible and only saw them for the first time 2 years ago. Mission Impossible movies are remarkable for a reason. Tom Cruise, the Producer, with his new partner/director "McQ" have found a way to capture our attention and place us on the edge of our seats for over 2 hours at a time. But I was still nervous, and maybe you are too, because when you love something, you don't want anything to go wrong. So did Dead Reckoning continue the Impossible Mission? --- Ethan Hunt and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the world's fate at stake and dark forces from Ethan's past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan must consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives of those he cares about most. --- Show Notes You can follow me on Letterboxd @HARRYPerry13 Message me on Discord - HARRYPerry13#1579 Check out Matt's show! Matt Goes To The Movies Connect with The Basement Binge in all the ways linked here --- SHOW LINKS send me an email - harrison@thebasementbinge.com Help the show by leaving a review on Podchaser.com/thebasementbinge You can also follow me on Letterboxd @HARRYPerry13 Best of the Best intro music by Anthony P. 2. Suzume

    Suzume

Suzume | Animation Hall of Fav Volume 3 Makoto Shinkai is a director whose work I have come to love. It is hard to explain the excitement a new release from him brings me. But I was nervous after my disappointment with Weathering With you I didn't want to be let down again. So I went in with caution, and that caution was quickly forgotten as I was amazed by this film. Suzume is a real depiction of our collective emotional vulnerabilities even if we don't want to admit it. We are feeling the changes of the world and want to preserve all that is good. Suzume tackles those feeling with it's amazing characters and story, with beautiful animation and an incredibly talented voice cast. In short - I loved it. --- Suzume, 17, lost her mother as a little girl. On her way to school, she meets a mysterious young man. But her curiosity unleashes a calamity that endangers the entire population of Japan, and so Suzume embarks on a journey to set things right. --- Show Notes THR Interview with Makoto Shinkai - hollywoodreporter 15 Obscure Words for Everyday Feelings and Emotions - getpocket The Letterboxd Review I mentioned from Nathan about Your Name.
