The BIG What If?
Every day, The BIG What If? takes one unforgettable moment, decision, injury, trade, rule change, or turning point in baseball history and asks the question fans can never resist: what if it had gone differently? Hosted by BNN broadcaster Michael Grant, each episode begins with what really happened, changes one key event, and then follows the most plausible ripple effects through the rest of baseball history. What if the Red Sox never sold Babe Ruth? What if Sandy Koufax had pitched five more seasons? What if Bo Jackson had chosen only baseball? What if the 1994 season had been completed? What if the Yankees had traded Mariano Rivera? This isn't random fantasy. Every episode is grounded in the players, teams, circumstances, and realities of the time to explore the baseball history that genuinely could have happened. In about 12 to 15 minutes, Michael takes listeners through the real story, the turning point, the alternate path, the consequences, and finally the BNN Verdict on how history most likely would have changed. Michael Grant is a fictional broadcaster created and voiced by Baseball Nation Network. The history is real; the alternate path is clearly presented as possibility, not fact. New episodes every day at 9 AM ET. One moment changes. Baseball history changes with it.
