There is something so beautiful about God’s sovereignty and His divine timing. The Lord chases us down and until we are His and orchestrates our lives in a way in which we encounter Him at the perfect moment.

If the cross happened without a resurrection, it would be a sad story. Yet, because the resurrection took place, all access to all of everything good in heaven is available for the believer. When you think about it, it’s nonsense, it’s insane to think that the God of the universe would take our punishment upon Himself and pay all our debt, our sin, simply because He loves us. Yet, Jesus paid it all and I don’t have to worry that my debt is paid and I’m granted access into the Kingdom. That’s why Easter is a lifestyle, not an event.

As Christians, one of our aims is to be like Jesus. Our Heavenly Father gave us Jesus, our savior. And Jesus was so generous with His life that He endured the cross and counted it JOY for our sake. When it comes to the giving of our resources, we should joyfully release it, even when it hurts. The Lord LOVES and is PLEASED with a cheerful giver!

As believers, we should regularly look inward and examine ourselves. People examine and check their jobs, organizations, health, resources, and status of everything else. Yet, why do we check on our soul last, the very entity that will live forever.
