In Christ, all the promises of God are YES and AMEN! In other words, all of God you want is yours, if you want it. However, we must do the will of the Father to truly be a part of the family of God and experience Jesus in full. Do you really want God, do you really love Him? Do the will of the Father, it’s all yours if you want it!

We are so obsessed with comfort in our culture that the slightest wince of discomfort ruins our day. There’s a difference between hurt and discomfort and on your God-Adventure, it will be full of the unpredictable and uncomfortable – sometimes hurt, most times discomfort. Learning to manage discomfort is a spiritual discipline that helps prepare you and helps you arrive at your God-ordained destiny.

What is your life consumed by? Is it consumed by, life, literally? Do you have idols who have your attention? Or, is your life consumed by who Jesus is and what He has done for you? Believers must be burdened by the spiritual war waged in our culture and find themselves obsessed with Jesus, leading us to live lives where our mind and heart is on mission to reach people with Good News at all times.

Most of us have preferences that we feel very strongly about. But what happens when that preference goes against what God is saying or doing? Today we will look at a passage in Acts where Peter’s preferences were challenged and he had to choose if he would go with God’s mission to reach the Gentiles or stay in his preference. You and I will take a hard look at our preferences and see if they are aligned with God’s mission.
