    You know that saying What's old is new again? Well, turns out grandma's living room is having to come back and we're here for it. This trend goes by about a dozen different names, grand millennial, new traditional, nostalgic chic, anything with the word heritage, take your pick. But at the end of the day, it's really about layering cozy textures, rich colors, and those familiar slightly old fashioned details that make a house feel like, well, a home. Now don't panic. We're not saying you need to raid your grandma's attic and drag out her floral sofa unless you want to, in which case respect.     S2:E21 Finding JOY "in Trouble" with YOUR People!

    You know that moment when you realize you have found your people. Well, for our guest today, Noelle, it happened with a cocktail in hand and for getting in trouble for talking too much to a complete stranger. Sounds like she would fit in just fine around here. She's definitely our kind of joy to drop. Noelle is not only one of our biggest fans, a mega fan as we like to call her, but she's also a design client of Stuart's,  and she's also the boss lady. I mean THE boss lady behind CycleU, a fitness brand here in Lexington. She founded to be as much about community and joy is about cycling or sweating. It's a fun conversation about finding joy when it happens unexpectedly and holding on just enough to let it grow. Personally, my favorite part is when Stewart got in trouble with her doing a project. I mean, hey, I have to enjoy mistakes when they happen, but don't worry, she still loves him and they still work together. He had to get something right. When we recorded this podcast, she was in her office at CycleU perched right above the studio floor.     Well, friends, we are back on the road. Yes. Once again, you are joining us from a very glamorous recording studio known as a rental car on I65. And before we get started, full disclosure, there may have been.. okay, there definitely was a tiny audio hiccup. Thanks to my fat fingers and this blasted phone. Well, I'll explain it when it happens, so you kinda get a full picture there.  But nonetheless, Jeremy had just rolled back in fresh off of vacation. So naturally his mind was still in relaxed mode and was also still thinking about the ways that I might've been comfortable slash uncomfortable in different spaces. So this had me thinking when we have people over at the house, what ways do we go about making our home more comfortable and welcoming for them?     Have you ever walked through a tour of homes or Builder showcase and found yourself thinking, what were they thinking? Guilty over here. I definitely have, well, in today's podcast we're talking about how these home tours can be just as educational for what not to do as they are for inspiration. And guys, we have seen some things, I mean, awkward things, design fails. I. Even some personal items left out that really made us question if the homeowners knew that this was even open to the public. Oh my God, I was so embarrassed for them.     S2:E18 Roadtrip to Market! Literally!

    Alright, y'all, this episode is a little different because we are not at home. We're actually recording this one from the car driving down I 75 on the way to market in Atlanta. Yep. We are literally taking the podcast on the road. We're heading down to by spring for 2026, if you can believe it. And I figured well this is the perfect time to bring you all along, so the sound might be a little bumpier than usual. But you'll get a real behind the scenes look at what market's like from the passenger seat in part one recorded. On the way down, I'll talk about how we prepare for the trip, what we're hoping to find, testing out a new shoe that might have been a bad idea, and why we weren't entirely sure if Dwayne was even gonna make it into market.
