Trent McEntire - The Power of Sensory Training

For more than two decades, Trent McEntire has been helping people gain back their mobility – a story he knows well. Born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy, Trent experienced pain and stiffness every day from the time he was a child. However, Trent's creative problem-solving abilities kicked in transforming his movement capabilities to participate in his love for sports. What Trent discovered to repair his own body became the foundation for what would be his life’s work.

For more than 20 years, Trent has taught his transformational neuro-movement methods and tools to thousands of clients and movement professionals across the globe. Trent’s work has helped many people move past their most debilitating situations -- children who struggle with focus; seniors who have lost their balance and mobility, individuals experiencing neurological conditions; and athletes who have suffered concussions, injuries, and other debilitating situations. Today, Trent’s mission is to get his methods and tools out to everyone who needs help. The Fire Up Your Brain program was created as a fun, engaging, and affordable way to support this mission.

Nichole Perkins - Healing Through Food

Nichole Perkins - Healing Through Food

Nichole Perkins is the founder and CEO of PrimaFoodie, a modern lifestyle and wellness brand aimed at making nutritious, clean living accessible for everyone. PrimaFoodie publishes inspirational and informative content centered around holistic health, healing foods, accessible low FODMAP and SIBO-friendly recipes, and advocacy for an equitable food system.

A self-described “food warrior,” Nichole started on a journey of healing through food more than seven years ago after struggling with various autoimmune conditions. Frustrated by the lack of answers provided by western medicine, she changed her healing trajectory and took autonomy over her health. Through voracious research, real foods, and the counsel of functional and alternative medicine practitioners, Nichole began to heal. She created PrimaFoodie to offer access to all that she continues to learn, and to prove that an empowered, clean, healing lifestyle is a human right and an individual journey.

Love this Podcast.

My daughter was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition in late March of 2020. A time when we had to be isolated from friends and family. It wasn’t a time build community to connect with in person, but this podcast offered and still offers me a great sense of support. I find each episode intriguing and leaving me with a powerful sense of hope and curiosity.

One of my favorite podcasts!!

This podcast is a MUST for all parents who have a child with autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, PANS/PANDAS, you name it. The Brain Possible really digs into areas of health & holistic wellness that are incredibly important, yet often not discussed in conventional medicine. As a Registered Dietitian for kiddos with autism, I 100% recommend this podcast to other practitioners as a great way to start this conversation with your clients (and to educate yourself, too!)
