For lovers of Brazilian percussion

I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning and am a big fan. It started out featuring teachers from California Brazil Camp and directors of local groups, and over the past years their reach has grown to include samba bateria directors, teachers and musicians and group leaders from Rio and around the world, as well as samba reggae, maracatu, choro... It’s still samba bateria heavy. Interview topics range from growing up in the community to how to keep a group working together to how to record in the middle of the sambódromo. It’s like sitting in on a great conversation with Courtney and Dianna and a friend.
