Jonni Skinner's Story - from Childhood Transition and Medical Abuse to Truth | The Bridge S2 Ep7

Tune in for another episode of The Bridge's Detransitioner Interview Series, in which your host, Maddie Durbin, a detransitioned woman, interviews other detransitioners. In this episode, Maddie interviews Jonni Skinner, a 23-year-old detransitioned man. Jonni began his medical transition from male to female at the age of 13 at the hands of medical professionals who convinced him and his mother that the root of his suffering was because he had a biological condition which caused him to develop male, but that he ought to have been female. This led Jonni down the path of puberty blockers and hormones, before he awoke from this lie in his early 20's. Jonni now accepts himself as a gay man and is healing from the mental and physical repercussions of these interventions, and speaks out to protect others. Jonni is also an ambassador for Genspect. Jonni mentions the WPATH files this interview. WPATH refers to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. These files were leaked in 2024 and exposed many truths behind so-called “gender medicine”. You can read the files and an analysis of them here: https://environmentalprogress.org/big-news/wpath-files. Finding Purpose After Detransition - Soren Aldaco's Story |The Bridge S2 Ep5

"There are so many ways to solve a single problem, and as soon as you realize that, I think it gives you more freedom than any physical intervention ever will, because your mindset is the lens you view life through." - Soren AldacoTune in for another episode of The Bridge's Detransitioner Interview Series, in which your host, Maddie Durbin, a detransitioned woman, interviews other detransitioners. This interview is with Soren Aldaco, a 23-year-old detransitioned woman and advocate. Soren began identifying as trans at age 11, began hormones at 17, and got a double mastectomy at 19. She now has a lawsuit in the state of Texas which she hopes will serve a greater purpose to create change. She is in graduate school, is an ambassador for Independent Women, and is truly a great example of a young person turning pain into purpose. I really enjoyed our conversation and hope you do too. Update: In this episode, which was filmed in April 2026, Soren mentions her lawsuit was currently at a pause while it was being determined if her case would continue due to the statute of limitations on claims. In June 2026, the Texas Supreme Court made a unanimous decision in favor of Soren's case, which means her case will go forward. You can read more about this decision here: https://www.independentwomen.com/2026/06/26/texas-supreme-court-unanimously-revives-detransitioner-lawsuit-paving-the-way-for-accountability-in-pediatric-gender-medicine/You can connect with Soren and learn more about her story at the links below: sorenaldaco.comx.com/sorenaldacohttps://www.independentwomen.com/2023/05/18/identity-crisis-how-one-detransitioner-found-peace-after-hormones-and-surgeryIf you wish to get in touch with us at The Bridge, please email us at thebridgepodcast.us[at]gmail[dot]com. 📲 Follow the Bridge on Instagram: @thebridgepodcast.us💜 Follow Maddie on Instagram @maddie.is_me💜 Follow Maddie on TikTok @maddie.is_me

Canadian Detransitioner Shares Her Story - FAITH | The Bridge S2 Ep2

Tune in for the first interview of The Bridge's Detransitioner Interview Series, in which your host, Maddie Durbin, a detransitioned woman, interviews other detransitioners. This interview is with Faith, a Canadian detransitioned woman and advocate. Faith shares her story of how her mental health issues as a teenager were misconstrued as gender-related, and she was pushed towards medicalization, beginning puberty blockers mid-puberty and cross-sex hormones while still a minor. We also discuss a wide array of topics, including the current political climate in Canada and the connection between gender ideology and the increase in M.A.I.D. (Medical Assistance in Dying, ie medically assisted suicide), which we both agree speaks to a large-scale devaluation of human life in our modern world. A great, thought-provoking conversation, which we hope you enjoy. Faith mentions the WPATH files this interview. WPATH refers to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. These files were leaked in 2024 and exposed many truths behind so-called “gender medicine”. You can read the files and an analysis of them here: https://environmentalprogress.org/big.... Faith is an advocate with Detrans Alliance Canada.
